Jerry, I'm not trying to scare Swanny and yes a biopsy can be as little as scraping a few skin cells into a petrie dish, but that is not what Swanny is talking about. He is talking about a fairly "large" portion of tissue being taken, not just a small sample. Read his post on the biopsy.Mate thats simply not true,a biopsy is a minor procedure,takes about 15mins,you just take a sample of tissue,and send it to the pathology lab
I can give you the details of three people in my immediate family who have had major infection issues associated with "biopsies" which were described as minor and "nothing to be concerned about". One is dead.
So it simply is true. Golden Staph is rampant in our medical system and is not just confined to hospitals.
Any procedure which involves breaking through the skin has risks attached. If you don't need it for a valid reason, think twice.
I am not saying don't have a biopsy which may help you medically, just try all other options first.
You may think I'm a bit over the top on the subject but you can probably understand why.
