There has been a lot of hype about this show tonight - if you're on your way out record it (apparently coming out on dvd anyway).
Today's Hun calls it a series - I don't think that is right

what is it about five man ? just a season preview ? or an actual show about the game of aussie rules?

From what I can gather Dickson followed the 08 fortunes of about a dozen clubs including Hawks, Bulldogs, West Coburg,... and they say it will make you fall in love with the game again. Supposed to include someone great GF stuff that we have not been privvy to.

St Kevins v Xavier - Urrrrgggh!

Hate 'em.

The Palestinian Peace team was a better story than those St Kevins and Xavier ****s.

I loved the story about the young footballer from the Tiwi Islands.

Kenny didn't get a kick until the last quarter, but played on instinctively after taking a good chest mark and kicked a goal.

You can't teach that.

The indigenous kids were just naturals.

One footballer kicked an empty soft bottle and had it spinning perfectly end over end like a Sherrin after it rocketed it off his foot.

Freaks.

The Collingwood cheer squad had to re-apply for their memberships. :D

One member bent over to make the banner and showed a good 20 centimetres of butt crack to reveal a Collingwood tatt on his arse.

Our cheer squad are passionate to the point of insanity, but the Collingwood cheersquad were on another level below that.

Any guesses as to the BigFooty username of the classy Hawthorn fan who gave both fingers to Geelong in the GF?

Pretty sure I didn't behave like that in 1995.

.

Lived in the NT for 3 years, and is still the one thing that amazes me,
is that they kick drop punts perfect as soon as they pick up the pill.

NT blokes kick short, but they are dead straight.

Btw = as good a football show as i have seen.

Certainly was. Footy's back, you bloody ripper!!!

Amazing to think that our beloved game is being played in Palastine.

I took some interest in the international cup last year, those Samoan lads were intimidating, it's always awesome to see a Kiwi haka get replied to.

The grand final footage made me jealous, number 17 is going to taste so damn sweet.

It was good, but the only Carlton thing in it was a short sighting of Judd and Browny calling him a superstar.

It went a long way to proving that the Collingwood cheer squad being full of ugly feral bogans is not a myth! Ewwwww!

Loved the bit on Crawford.

It was good stuff. I really enjoyed it :)

Have no idea what you are all talking about

Television, G-Man. Rudd government's upcoming budget apparently has funding that will finance broadcasting of ABC1 & 2 as well as SBS into WA by 2012. The commercials are also looking at extending their signal west of Eucla. You're gonna love it, big fella. :thumbsu:
