Tell ya what, if I wasn’t already excited enough by this pick, seeing how hyped Austin was in the behind the scenes footage has me giddy now.

That footage inspires confidence for sure. He was our man from the moment we traded up to 3. We did well to keep that under wraps for so long. It all fell in place brilliantly.

We can genuinely say we rated him Number 1.

Oh and Agresta ... coward.

Obviously a super prospect...but I was kind of hoping we picked Draper. Seems like much more of a burst player with a really penetrating kick. Jagga looks more like a Walshy type, albeit probably more pacey.

But can't be disappointed. Talent aplenty.

I think Smith will be the better player. I was indifferent between him and Draper and only because draper is almost a guaranteed career crows player.

Also deep down they know if he ended up at a Richmond, North, Weagles he'd have a lot more pressure and expectation on his shoulders. Very rare for a top 8 club in the window so to speak get to grab the potential best kid in the draft.

Have to laugh that Dylan Williams and Pommy the YouTube ‘gurus’ who said we definitely wouldn’t take Jagga because we need a point of difference, were completely wrong - yet again.

Beware of content creators.

These guys spend alot of time creating content for us and have for a long time. Blue abroad and Pommy in particular have been through the dark times with all of us. They aren't going to get everything correct but don't think they should be called out for providing their opinions.

We should be grateful if anything.

He got demoted from National Recruiter to State Recruiter in 2020.
Haven’t heard about any changes since then?
