Gee thinking back to the loss against the Saints earlier this year.
Had Jack kicked the goal we'd be 2 points up on the Saints and yet we find ourselves 6 points behind them.

Was also thinking how important that St Kilda loss looks now. Even more important than the Centenary game.

Yeah Jack had the chance but to be fair the whole team should have put that rabble to the sword well before the final siren. How the hell Milne did what he did......

Things that come back to bite you on the bum.

Was yet another lesson for the team in a season of very good improvement.

Or if the timekeepers hadn't messed up and we'd had that extra 12 seconds or whatever it was. Could have cost us a trip to the finals. Can't believe that happened to us twice. Good chance that at least one of them cost us the win as both times we were in attack when the siren sounded.

in hindsight looking back weve actually had a pretty good 2008 season.

it is a shame though we had that draw and lost to the saints.

with any luck the saints will do the right thing by us and lose their next 2.

they will be bottom 4 next year anyway ross lyon is the new spud.

go tiges!

If Jake king hadn't crapped himself against the bulldogs and rushed the behinds......if if if if if. If my autie had balls she'd be my uncle.

Kel Moore was the one who missed an easy shot on goal in the last minute, Jack was always unlikely.

You could also say if we missed one shot on goal against Brisbane then we'd be 10 points behind St Kilda right now instead of 6.

Yeah but we also had close wins vs Port, Bris and Ess.. you can't win them all.

I also think its a bit harsh on Jack, that mark was a long way out and he would have been exhausted by the end of the game. Moore's shot was the one we should have converted.

Also the timekeepers cost us a chance at an inside 50 entry so its as much their fault. Not to mention robbing us in the Dogs game to with Browny running onto the ball and could have easily kicked a point with seconds left.

We'll never know. Been a good season though and hopefully the Saints can pay us back by not winning another game. (I think this is their best chance at winning the flag, with an aging list and GC17 coming in it'll be too late for them to re-build again, could be a long few years coming up for the Saints :D)

Since Jake King went out of the side with injury we havent lost when he has been out of the side.

He went out and was late inclusion for Carlton game then out again until being late in against Geelong and played Vs Adelaide dropped and we beat Hawks.

He cost us Vs the Saints and possibly dogs I think he must be dropped I cant handle him on the list for another year.
