I think so. He's at the coal face, he's an absolute expert on getting first hands on the pill, and not only that, has brilliant hands and vision to actually get the ball to a runner. You can't let a player like that keep creating so much drive. Add to that he seems to be developing good overhead marking skills combined with his size and hopefully will improve kicking at goal, he's a pretty darn dangerous player. Is Cripps now the first player on our list opposition coaches will put time into? Well?
This is probably going to be the first time we've had Gibbs Murphy and Cripps all at full fitness and confidence in the centre square for a very long time. If we have at the very least a 2015 Murphy and Cripps and a 2014 Gibbs it'll be very hard to just look out for Cripps. One of those will get off the chain. And don't forget we should expect curnow to turn into an accumulator like Carrazzo did and improvement from docherty, boekhurst and graham for depth.
I for one like our midfield set up around kruezer/Phillips.

I know this is going off topic a bit now but Ex-hawthorn coaches tend to not use taggers. Look at what beveridge did with Liam picken (18 up to 23 disposal average and 3 to 13 goal total). I see curnow doing a similar change under BB. This alone with keeping our midfield core together and fit with improve us drastically.
There's not enough time in the world...
Not anymore.Pretty sure the go to phrase is 'not enough hours in the day'

I'm thinking after yesterday that I might start a new tradition for myself. Each year I'm going to get the previous year's membership card signed by that year's B&F winner. I look forward to having my next ten cards signed by Cripps.

I can adjust. Glad I'm not a Lions member. You might need to get them to sign a bit smaller as your 2018 card will need to squeeze in Cripps' and Wines' joint signatures![]()
Just on that, one thing im looking forward to seeing is how many players start to fly the flag when something like this happens. Previously its only really been Judd, Cripps, Bell and Buckley. We need every player to not let their teammate get pushed aroundHow many weeks will Crowley get for his pathetic hit on Cripps in Round 6? Poll?

Did used to love it at the half time break when Juddy would vline to a bloke that took out a young kid to give him a bump and a spray+1
Its always annoyed me how little our players stand up for one another. Nothing silly needed, just a just a nudge and a glare to let the opposition know they shouldn't try that again.
Equally, I love the fact that Dylbucks never backs down despite being 1/8th the size of a fully grown human...
