Not using that jumper was a condition of entry into the AFL. If they want to watch it in use, they can go and watch SANFL.

My favourite argument is that wearing black and white stripes, Port have won 28 Premierships. Collingwood have won 15.

You only have to look at history. Compare ports multiple premierships in the last 50 years to Collingwoods. There will only ever be one true black and white club and thats the Port adelaide football club. Collingwood are pathetic.

Problem is those tinpot cups were in one of the lower leagues the SANFL. Port we're a big fish in a small pond there. Now they've joined the big time they are finding it a hard time accepting they're now a minnow.

You you won a few flags in a second or third rate league what is there to be jealous of? I do agree however that there will only ever be one true black and white club, it is the club that has worn them the longest and help found the league we play in today

One it is a fact you played in an inferior league and secondly while I do love the history of the game I don't care to much about premierships one pre 2001 as I have no recollection of them

the fan-lead "one club" merger back in 2010 brought together the wrongfully split Port Adelaide back to one club instead of the reserves operating under it's own branch, which was only forced on us because the SANFL were scared we'd be even stronger than we were. actually the one club merger only spiritually brought the supporters back together who had been ripped apart and made lead to believe one Port Adelaide was more Port Adelaide than the other. fortunately it was all officially stitched together (in 2013 i think) and now we even have an AFL license ran by the AFL (like everyone else had except us and the crows - oh yes, the crows were caught up in all the bullshit, we had to drag them out of it) and not the dinosaurs that were trying to kill the club off.
