A question about potential sanctions against the Dons

If Essendon are stripped of their premiership points does that mean we get our 4 points credited back from our loss to them 4 or 5 weeks back? If the AFL go down the path of the NRL sanctions placed on the Storm a couple of years ago and make Essendon play for no points next year (there is no suggestion of this so far that I know of)then surely teams scheduled to play the Bomber twice next year are gifted 8 points effectively meaning they only need to win 10 games to make the finals further making the draw more compromised and uneven than it already is. It will be interesting to see which way they go.

Based off the NRL you still had to beat them to get points. If you already lost to them you didn't get the points.
