I ventured out to the land of bad haircuts, f--k me boots and overweight woman sporting tight clothes 10 sizes too small to watch the steeplechase.

Come the second race on the card I noticed that from the 10 starters, 7 of them had a woman on board. It's something you don't see everyday, so would that be a record for a proper competitive race in Australia? No doubt there has probably been a mickey mouse "equal opportunities" race with all female jockeys. The three horses with male jockeys were all cack so I was forced to break the first rule of punting and plonk my hard earned on a sheila.

Don't adgree with that one i reckon there are quite a few good female jocks going around.I have in particular won a fair stack on L.Meech especially at the provical meetings through my quaddies.

Yep, the Payne girls go well as does Bernadette whatshername up in Sydney....won a bit on her rides as well.

I now back her rides regrdless of odds.

If she was given the sames rides as Michelle Payne, she would get far more recognition.
