Who deserves the position in the all Australian side this year. I think it's

a tough one because Jonathon brown kicked more goals and played more

games than pavlich. But Pavlich had more possessions and played in the

midfield for periods. I think Pavlich should get the nod for being more

effective than Brown and played a few games less as well. What are your

thoughts out of the two, or is there someone else more worthy, like

Roughhead?

CHF: Franklin
FF: Fev

One of Riewoldt or Pavlich as the third tall. On 22 rounds, Pavlich. On the memory of the AA selectors (last 6 weeks), most likely Riewoldt.

This doesn't need another thread. People have been debating this in the actual AA thread. Riewoldt is ahead of both of them. Pavlich to the bench. Brown shouldn't get selected this year. Franklin FF and Fevola FP.

This is worthy of its own thread as we have so many good CHF this year. Also there is no way riewoldt would make the team he has kicked less than 50 goals and has had a lot less possessions than Pavlich. Also Buddy and Fev are both full forwards, and shouldnt get the CHF position. It should be Franklin full forward and fevola in the pocket. just because those two have kicked the most goals doesn't mean one of them deserves the CHF position

Neither

Reiwoldt will be CHF, the clear stand out.

Buddy at FF, Fev at FP.

Brown will miss as will Roughie

Pav will either be on a Flank or on the Bench.

Franklin would suit playing in the pocket more than Fev but it doesn't work like that unfortunately.

I would probably say Brown to be CHF over Pav.

OK. You should create a new thread. So you can show off your amatuerish comments. I can't take you seriously after that comment.

Lloyd's season as CHF would be right up there as well. Best move of Knights coaching so far.

lloyd is shockin, wat about richo? but jonathan brown is better forward than pav, but pav is better overall...

Riewoldt to CHF (hands down the best 'true' CHF this year), Fev to FF, Franklin on a flank, with mid and smalls around them.

Brown, Roughie and Pavlich to miss on account of the tall talent already selected.

haha dont u look stupidd mate just go hav a glance at the goal kicking roo is on 56. and if u check the disposals roo is also beating the pav.as true riewoldt but if they are doin wher ther coach sets them id say buddy iv seen the team list numerous times this year and he has been named at chf n roughhead at ff

Pavlich should not be in the AA side this year.

How many clutch goals has he missed throughout the season? 3 or 4 where he cost his team the game.

You can't gift him another spot in the side like the time he got one at FB.

Out of this shortlist:

Jonathan Brown (Brisbane)
Daniel Bradshaw (Brisbane)
Brendan Fevola (Carlton)
Paul Medhurst (Collingwood)
Matthew Pavlich (Fremantle)
Steve Johnson (Geelong)
Lance Franklin (Hawthorn)
Brent Harvey (North Melbourne)
Daniel Motlop (Port Adelaide)
Nick Reiwoldt (St.Kilda)
Ryan O'Keefe (Sydney)
Robert Murphy (Western Bulldogs)

HF: Pavlich Riewoldt Medhurst
F: Franklin Fevola Johnson

Although it will probably depend on the makeup of the team as a whole.
As the only Pie, I reckon Medders will make it, and Pav maybe on the bench, although considering the amount of Cats maybe Johnson will miss out, Brent Harvey maybe slotted in instead. It's tough, although I can't see Pavlich not being selected at all.

As i see it now the squad has been released, it'll still be Riewoldt to CHF, Fev to FF, Franklin on a flank and I can guarantee they'll slot Harvey in there somewhere. Only two spots left in that forward line, I'd like to think they'll go small, but Pavlich has a knack of AA selection in any position.
