IMHO opinion, i recon Sandi will get it. But form to date, Hamish. That is not a biased view. He has genuinly been the most important and dominant ruckman in the comp so far.

After Dean Cox's effort on the weekend i think he would now have to be leading the race.

He has missed 2 , played 1 average game and 1 good game.
There is no way he could be leading the race. If can remain injury free for the rest/most of the season he would be in with a very good chance.
He made it as the second ruckmen last year even thorough he only played 13 games.

Hamish has been great from what little I have seen of the Kangaroos.

I think Cox, then McIntosh. Sandilands a very good chance though if he has more taps to advantage and more possessions/goals.

if sandilands right now would be All australian but he might be the back up ruckman but if he keeps going the way hes going he shoould be AA

Lade has been Ports best 2 weeks in a row imo. Sandilands has had a pretty good start and there should be more to come and Cox is now back in top shape. It'll be between these three, i'd say Lade atm.

McIntosh and Sandilands are the only two real contendors that have played every game in the ruck so far. Cox missed the start of the season and Lade started forward (and having little impact) with Brogan in the ruck.

Just on performances so far it would have to be McIntosh, but by the end of the year it will probably be Cox (assuming Brogan comes back and forces Lade forward again).

Cox has been good, but not great so far. IMO Lade and Sandilands would be the standouts.

Everett has impressed me though. If he keeps improving at this rate he could end up making it, at least on the bench.
