Me too, thought Shep would at least have made the squad. Would've been included if he was more well known. A massive job this year, including playing on much bigger players.
Surely no chance for Gov, would've made it if he didn't keep getting injured.

How is jack reiwaldt even in the squad . He is 9th in the Colman . Lecras only kick 9 goals less and played 50% midfield

If Shep has about a 5-10% better year next year he will make it. He was in about my top 45 not top 40. We have 5 selections which is pretty great, if anything McGovern took Sheps spot. At the halfway mark McGovern was a lock but over the course of the season Shep was better.

You're probably right, but that's not how it should work.

These people are "professional's" picked to decide the team, they should watch every single game or not be on the panel. It really is a farce more often than not.

I think Rance would be excellent in our web. He's like a souped up Schofield (2015 version) High quality one on one defending but can generate a lot of dangerous forward thrusts.

Draws a lot of flack for being so pretty IMO.

I genuinely thought Eric deserved the spot last year but Rance has been the best key defender this year imo. 2013 and before he was pretty average. Would have been a good battle between him and Eric this year if he didn't go down because we know Eric is a better lockdown defender but he was attacking the play more/getting more touches etc last year. Excited for the return of the great man next year.

Priddis won't miss. Missing last year after winning the brownlow will ensure he gets recognized this year for a better season. It's how the AFL works.

Sheppard definitely came out of nowhere for this season.

On Sandilands, I never really saw the enamour. Hes good enough to get first hands to it because hes 7 foot. But he doesnt direct it whatsoever. Hes better than most ruckman but thats not the point of AA. Its to be the best.
