Ablett Jr for Judd?

Sorry, I'm watching the soccer at the moment and on the internet and just pondering life in general and I thought what would you guys want for Ablett Jr.? Would you take Juddy in a straight swap? Probably would NEVER happen but Juddy is possibly the complete player and the Ablett name alone just reeks of Geelong royalty...So it kinda evens out in terms of significance I suppose. Maybe I'm wrong. What's it gonna take guys??

Btw, loved the Freo game, 6 goals from the little champ wasn't it? Surely in AA form

There is NO WAy Geelong would trade Ablett Jnr for Judd.
Gary is improving all of the time and I am sure that over a period of time he will be better value. He will hurt you more on the scoreboard and offers much more interest to fans to sponsors

As good as Judd is, there is no chance i could justify trading the the clubs greatest name.

Like Judd, Ablett is 21-22 and nearly has 100 games to his name. The experience is now there and he is in the process of starting to really tare games apart.

His next 100 games will be wonderful. I can't wait.

As someone previous stated. If Ablett was traded. Shell Stadium would be burnt to the ground. I think the same applies to Scarlett.

the guy is a gun, plain and simple. i wouldnt trade ablett for him and apart from scarlett, chapman and egan i would say everyone else is fair game when it comes to judd.

Father-son selections or players with a strong connection to the club don't get traded. They're too significant to the club for that to happen. If they end up playing elsewhere, its probably because they didn't make the cut at their first club (eg Shane Tuck), or by their own choice (eg Marc Murphy). Hence, GAJ would not be traded for anyone.

he should be plying on ball, but at the moment he's a specialist half foward flanker, where he gets tagged every week, and this year he's had a poor year.

Judd is a ruck rover/ centreman, half foward/ half back/ wingman, who's value at dream team at one stage was $425,000

Regardless of dream teams etc, i would never consider a trade like that. Maybe a trade that would suit the eagles would be:
Chris Tarrant, First Round Pick for judd, and we would pay for tarrants contract.
