Went to the game at Southport. Keays definitely best on but quite selfish at times. Lions will definitely pick him up though.

Budarick the best local, plays a bit like Prestia. Only a small fella and shocking hairstyle, but well worth the Suns picking up.

Wagner didn't impress me that much today, had a bit of it, but didn't want to get his knees dirty in and under the packs. Liked the easy handball receive to clear the pack.

African looking chap off the back flank, #14 I think... Very quick, good skills, decision making a bit dodgey but hard at it. Could be worth a rookie spot as s project.

budarick another helensvale high product, same with bozzo and thompson. mckenzie and russell also finished their year 12 studies at helensvale.

will have to keep an eye on him during the rest of the championships.

I think after 1hour of digging found some info on the Suns top prospect next year Brad Scheer
Think he played seniors yesterday for Palm Beach and kicked 2 goals from the midfield..
- to be confirmed..
I think the Suns are hiding him.. So hard to find info

Standing 184cm and 82kg atm as a 16yr old turning 17 this year hopefully he pushes 190cm

Confirmed - his first game of the season. Played limited game time as a high half forward. Did Ok took 7 marks including a couple of good contested ones. Kicked a couple. Still a chance for Queensland 18s this weekend..... ?

7 Marks from a midfielder in limited game time playing seniors is enough for me..
Obviously he knows and reads the game very well..

Well we have an academy player.. Gun midfielder.. Worth a first round pick.. Next year..
We'll take 1 less mid this year and look at a small/med forward etc.

Yeah just easing way back in i guess , been out for a long time , think you might be right cant be drafted this year.

Playing for qld when we have atleast 2 brisbane lions academy players playing in our stoopid NEAFL..
Scheer should be playing for the Suns in the NEAFL this weekend.. Not those spuds.
