Two of St Kilda's best younger players (Owens and Windhager) were taken in the same draft via the NGA pathway.

St Kildas problem is being the smallest club in a saturated market in Melbourne. They’re never going to be viable. They’ll always just be making up the numbers. As sad as that is to say.

St Kilda loves to focus on these marginal issues rather than (1) looking in the mirror and, more importantly, (2) their own backyard in Melbourne where their direct competition rort and limit their ability to compete.

They wonder why they can’t attract any players. All they do is complain. Pathetic club.

Should have the option to move players on to accumulate points if you have several academy guns

Apparently, it means they will have access to better kids.

All it will cause is broadcasting our kids less, having them come in at low picks, then they don't get them anyway. Only place where this doesn't work is father-sons but can't avoid that I guess.

Going to bite them in the end when they have some good f/s's or academy players down the pipeline. Will suck when it costs them another shot at a premiership. Not that they make the most of their chances anyway.
