Firstly i just want to say thanks to all those who post stuff from training etc, its great to get an update on how the blue boys are shaping up. Especially being OS.

Secondly, Hows Adam Hartlett going? will he crack into the side this year barring injury? How long to people think we should persist with him if he doesnt step up this season?

Personally I'd love to see him kicking 2-3 a game this year in a 'Sticks' style game but with the talent we already have is he going to get the opportunity? :confused:
 
I think that Ratts has been saying on Radio that he will be in a rotation through CHF with a couple of other young guys, so it seems he will be given a shot. I don't know too much about him though.
 
he will get an opportunity at some stage this year, i hope too he grabs the bull by the horns.

his injuries have plagued him, and until he can get over them properly i dont think he will be up for selection early. he needs to string some good games before he can get selected.

Also he has a dedancy to get lost on the field or run in the wrong areas or seems to labour across the field. needs to work on this! since you started this post i will make sure i take a good look at him at training tomorrow!!!

Definately someone with potential yet to be fulfilled!!

For the past 2 years Hartlett has reduced his weight in an attempt to reduce hamstring injuries. Unfortunately this makes him a bit if a lightweight KPP.

He along with Jake Edwards, Kreuzer, Aisake and Cloke will probably all get an opportunity to support Fish and Fev as tall forwards. Although Ratts has stated Waite will play CHB there are likely to be days where he is also moved forward.

From there it is a matter of who takes his opportunity.

I dont think Hartlett is quite good enough, and in his 4th year at an AFL club he should be dominating regularly at VFL level to earn a senior spot on merit.

I doubt he will be on the list in 09

I'd give him the thumbs down at this stage as bad as that sounds..... to many ingury issues for mine.............. rate him but big ? over him.
 
He is very injury prone.If he can sort that out I reckon he could be more than handy.With Lance and Kennedy gone CHF is there for the taking.He can kick goals from outside fifty.Wouldn't it be great to have 2 forwards who could do that?(Fev being the other)

If the gladiator asked to kill his opponent he was given :thumbsu: so rather than being a negative response :thumbsu: has always been a positive response, although I'm not sure the gladiator getting killed wouldn't agree.

Depends on what side of the fence your on now doesn't it!!

It was actually used as a response to the crowds plea's!! the gladiator, bein a slave, had no say and waited for orders based on the crowds cheers. All for the enjoyment of the people.

The crowd would scream for death or life and thumbs down either way would save your life!! If the crowd want you to live they chant for the thumbs down. Therefore thumbs down has as much positive meaning

My point being thumbs up you die
thumbs down you live

with Aisake, Hampson and Kreuzer coming through, hed want to do something as if Aisake and Hammo can hold down the ruck Kreuz may make a forward of himself....just a thought.
