Did anyone just feel that, I haven't felt one before so I pretty much crapped myself.

Yep sure did

I've never felt one before either... was weird!

I'm up near the hills and judging by what people are saying it seems pretty widespread.

Aren't we meant to be 'overdue' for one? Given the rate of earthquakes this year it doesn't really surprise me. It will be interesting to see what the severity of it was, it really only felt very minor.

Edit: Here's what I was referring to - http://www.adelaidenow.com.au/news/sa-could-have-major-earthquake/story-e6freo8c-1225700057323

Tremor, not earthquake. You'd know if it was an earthquake.

pfft this is the most exciting thing to happen to Adelaide in decades. it's a goddamn earthquake.

It's better than anything they've ever had in China! Go Adelaide!

Ahahahah, thats so true!

Whats the difference between an earthquake and a tremor?

Must have been pretty decent. I have quite a lot of friends in Adelaide, and my facebook page just lit up with comments about it.

Quite frankly i am dissappointed it didn't sink the whole city into the sea.
Thats a bit harsh mate

Yep the windows were shaking pretty bad here down the port way.
Can't believe how widespread it was, although Adelaide isn't massive. Not really keen on sleeping right now, aftershocks? :D

Oh GOD ITS HORRIBLE CHILDREN SCREAMING EVERYWHERE, HOUSES DEMOLISHED, FAMILIES DEVASTATED ABOUT 20 CASUALTIES SO FAR!!!!

seriously my little subwoofer makes a bigger shake than that.
Ahah mate, alot of people have never felt one before, it wasn't massive but it was a little scary.

Didn't last for long - but it was big enough to start shaking things inside.

Very widespread, but that's not surprising. It's a massive fault-line.

Just aftershocks from perth people creaming their pants over naitanui tonight :thumbsu:

On the real though, it had me worried for a bit, luckily the tremors I felt didn't seem to last too long. Hopefully the tremors have finished now.

Pictures just in.....

Fortunately it looks like Adelaide got away with it unscathed.

Yeah maybe 5-7 seconds? Scary but.

Ahahahah Harry Tiger, good one

I think the tremor almost surpassed our over reaction to it on the richter scale.
Yeah, definately, apparantly it was only 3.2 or something. But it was pretty shakey. Imagine if it was over 5

I live at Mt Barker, which is where the epicenter is, and by hell I felt it
