Adelaide Incident

🥰 Love BigFooty? Join now for free.

Neil Craig was interviewed on 3AW tonight and Dwayne Russell asked about an incident that was likely to hit the Advertiser front pages tomorrow?

Apparently Adelaide journalists were seeking information from journalists at the "Age" today about the incident?

NC said he had no knowledge but Dwayne was to brief him off air - could something have happened on the Saturday night here in Melbourne???

Its news to me. Did they hit as to what the incident might be??????
No Dwayne said he did not want to mention it publicly in case it was another rumor like the Port Feud ;)

But he thought if true would hit the papers tomorrow?

Would not surprise me i wont to be cofident about the year ahead but ive got this nagging feeling something is about to happen.I was at the dome saturday night and 5 minutes before half time we looked like we were going through the motions waiting for half time and in the 3rd term nothing was done to stem their flow. The thing i found stange was in the 3rd term we put roo to FF and 5 minutes later when the ball had not gone up there and did not look like going up there we kept him there surely that was the time to put him back on the ball. Also on SEN on sunday they said that McLeod was only going through the motions.

Think we're talking about an incident of the ground?

hmmm... I'm stumped as to what the incident is... wont comment as i know nothing.

Please though, if anyone has any knowledge... please do share...

Surely not

Nah it'll be alright, if NC didn't know anything about then it surely can't be true... or atleast that bad.

Well, I don't think anything happened in the casino. All that happened there was I gave my usual donation to the "Kerry Packer Provident Fund".

As long as its not anything that breaks the law it can be handled reasonably well. Or maybe someone has done a Carey
The suggestion was front page so its either going to be major or just another ill - founded rumour?

Maybe Scott Welsh isnt happy with being named "Tool Of the Week "on Before the Game.

Seriously tho...I haven't heard anything over here today. Are there any bottle shop owners involved in this story?

Didn't see Before the Game this week, please tell me he was given tool of the week for his rat tail haircut?

I just hope this is not a Wayne Carey incident, oh well time will tell.

Last week I was speaking to a friend of mine - she is a Scott Welsh fan.

I was joking with her and said, did you see what he did yesterday? Scotty punched some Swans bloke in the arm - and then Scotty was the one that fell over! What is he doing? How soft is that?

It seems Dave Hughes and co thought the same thing and gave him the Tool Of The Week Award. It's a fair call too - you throw a punch at someone and youre the one that falls over? What a Nancy Boy.

I told her about it today and she said well at least he has gotten rid of that mullet.

But its the incident that happened in Melbourne so I don't think thats it

Maybe the boys got ********ed and decided to trash Ayresy's bottle shop :p

I'll give you a story about trashing Ayrsey's things.

For those of you who don't know while Ayrsey resided in Adelaide he lived in St. Peters down on River Park (A known gay and drug dealing haunt, coincidence?) Anyway in year 6/7 school football we used to train on the oval facing his house. One particuarly muddy practice we were waiting for our coach (Former Norwood player Damian Obst) to arrive so a few of the older guys began to throw "mud pies" at the nearest whitest fence. Soon Gary's smoking and drinking 16 year old son came out and brought a baseball bat with him, he held the main perpatrator against a wall and threatend him. We than trained with him sitting on his balcony smoking. After training it appeared he went inside and some **************** in our team began to make another mud pie, his son saw us and than came up to the car park with Damian Obst already run off and proceeded to threaten all the players and mothers there, the school never got an apology out of him but Gary once watched one of our games.

Listening to The back page on SEN and no mention is being given about any Crows incident. Apparently main Advertiser story is about Port's final term fade outs!

Disaster averted!
