Hi

I'm looking to purchase some tickets for the Adelaide game but Ticketek only seem to be offering seats in Ponsford stand.

I can't imagine all of the Southern Stand and wings being sold out already, so am guessing they just haven't released the rest of the seats yet.

Does that sound right?

Any idea when they usually release the rest of them?

Will be going with my Adelaide supporting work mates. Can't wait to belt the yellow and black after the final siren!

GA will be open in the Southern Stand on the day, and every other stand.
Thanks.

As there is a group of us going I was planning on reserving seats - but was surprised at the lack of options.

Or do they just not do much reserved seating these days and it's mostly general admission?

Thanks.

It depends on the game I guess. This one will be at most 50k? The only reason to book tickets in this case is if you want 'premium' (i.e level 2/2a/3) seating. Every game I remember recently against Interstate opposition there is usually multiple level 1 bays for GA in the GSS, and every bay on the top level as well. i guess they know the seats won't sell as reserved seating so they don't bother trying.

Keep checking though, Would hate for someone to miss out on seats they wanted because some guy with a keyboard on the Internet said something.

I'll be there, sitting very very quietly.

Hall of Fame Dinner afterwards. Big weekend!

Haere Ra

Hell Kiwi - I would have thought the Evil Kneivel sphincter would have moved on by then!!!!

Going with my family of 7, but won't bother reserving seats. GA is the way to go unless its a really big game like Bombers, Blues or Pies.

Flying over for the Adelaide game, but like others in this thread I'm finding it difficult to get decent reserve or even premium seats. Just want to confirm that there should be enough GA all around the ground for me not to bother booking tickets? Hell I don't even mind sitting in a Q block as that's where I was for the Collingwood match and it was great up there. Would be even better to be able to sit there with GA ;)

If you get there an hour or so before the bounce you will be able to get great seats wherever you want, unless you want premium seating which is always reserved. Even half an hour before you will still get good seats the stadium wont even be half full, more like 40k there imho.
The front area of Q deck, Olympic Stand is my preferred spot to watch from, never a problem with GA unless its a blockbuster game.

You'll be fine. No need to reserve a seat. I'm predicting 45-50,000, weather permitting, if it rains, minus 7-8k from that. The army will be out in force.

Thanks for the info guys, very helpful.

And Darth, front of Q in the Olympic stand sounds brilliant. See you all at the game! :D

It should be simple enough to buy General Admission tickets at the ground on Game day. I would be guessing that there will be 42,000~47,000 crowd. A game has to have 70,000+ before I start to think of reserving a seat. Just make sure you get there early to make sure you get a good seat.

Yep what others said but to add if you do want premium seats, unless it's a massive game, you can normally find great L2 corporate sponsored seats on eBay for less than buying them on Ticketek.

You do have to be patient but usually L2 seats on the wing pop up at prices less than Ticketek.

Nice one guys.

Thanks for all the info. Don't get to fly down for many games these days.

Can't wait for this one. Particularly after what Sydney did to Adelaide yesterday - reckon they're going to come out pretty fired up.

If we can play with a similar intensity to the last game and accuracy we could inflict some serious damage . Just quietly:)

I'm scared of the drums

U might have to help me out a bit here RG.........please.

The drums before the game! Jynx! We've only won 1 game when they played and that was against Melbourne.

I guess I'm superstitious.
