They never did have the makings of a varsity athlete.

The Tippet Fiasco played a mild to moderate part why the crows are in their current position.You’re mostly right - but the Tippett sanctions are a massive part of why we’re falling in a hole now.
Add 3 first round picks and 3 second round picks into our side, and that’s potentially 4-6 quality players we’re missing.
Compound that with our hopeless admin/leadership, of which Roo is obviously a part of, and it’s no wonder we’re f’ed.
The last decade of the Crows should become a text book study in how to fu** up a footy club.
I have seen him play in the SANFL.McAdam does have a lot of raw talent but I don't know how you could call him elite when he hasn't even played a game of AFL.
Yeah he did. He certainly has the physical tools to make it in the AFL. Whether or not he has the nous and work ethic to make it is an unknown at this point though. He tends to play in bursts and fades in and out of games a little too much for my liking.I have seen him play in the SANFL.
He comes from your SANFL club sturt. I saw him play well in the 2018 finals series with sturt.
I am certain he played in one or both of the Sturts flags they won in 2016 and 2017.

Since Eddie Betts left your team isnt to spoiled for choice in forward pocket players, its Shane McAdam or Tyson stengleYeah he did. He certainly has the physical tools to make it in the AFL. It does seem similar to being a "big club" completely failing to catch up with the consequences of an equalised playing field - and hero-worship getting in the way of good management.Adelaide has f’ed up significantly not so much as in mismanagement but they are behind in professional practice. If you use Hawthorn as the bench, Adelaid is like 20 years behind
Don’t want to turn this into a SA bashing but I note everyone in key positions are South Australians
Is that a little insular?
I presume Fagan isn't though, but they have a long history of jobs for the boysDon’t want to turn this into a SA bashing but I note everyone in key positions are South Australians

Incredibly perceptive analysisI've just noticed they have a lot of 'Mc's' in their squad. With Eddie McGuire also receiving some bad publicity lately, is it just a case of bad year for the Mc's?
McAdam
McAsey
McHenry
M. Crouch
That's a lot of Mc's to chew on....

Player managers are some of the dogiest people going. They leech on to the these players and string out work that a QC could do in a day or two. I dont know the ins and outs, but I wouldn't take what they say as gospel.“Again with Charlie, it was not the money. Let's just leave it at that!", he said.
You'd hope that Roo keeps his mouth shut.
I counted the following
Chapman
Riccuito
Nicks
All assistant coaches
He is their "primus" no support, scapegoat coach.Nicks is from SA but he's had zero to do with the Crows till now. Played with Sydney, assistant at Port and GWS. Get the feeling Nicks will be a stop gap coach who'll very soon start copping the wrath of the supporter base and SA media, but he'll escape the "bloody Victorian" vitriol Robert Shaw and Gary Ayres copped.
its been a mystery why so many good players have left Adelaide and attracting few established players. In comparison to other clubs their administration is not been that bad but I can’t help to think the media have something to do with this.
In comparison to Port who with the exception of Wingard have pretty much kept the core of their team and brought in quality / experienced players to enhance their team.

Tonnes of players leaving Port Adelaide....ummm club culture.. sh*t boring city...

Gibbs = massively over paid
Walker = over paid
Mackay = over paid
Smith = over paid
Talia = over paid
Sloane = over paid

Dan the man says HiBut no one is more insular than an insular South Australian.
Wingard was a case of the club actively trading him rather than him wanting to leave. In recent times the only player that left the club for money/contract is Polec.
