I figured out what the problem was.

Not logged into google.

Such a stuff around if you don't have youtube and gmail as the one account as you have to log out of youtube all the time. Annoying.

There's no skill in it. I just keep hoping Denver have a slow week...

It's pretty much a free ride with high scoring teams. Bookies wouldn't give you odds on it. They'd move the line.

They could theoretically put in play all 10 of their teams in one week and score 40 pts in one week
Tho there'll be some games where two of their toplist teams are playing each other.
And of course, it'll be very difficult to get all 10 right across the Spread and 27 options.

Yes, it had occurred to me at season's start that I might be better leaving it until week 8 to start tipping, when form lines for each team were more clear, and just go the high risk 3 point tips for the last few weeks of the season. Glad I didn't do that though, as usual I am sucking gradually across the whole season of inexorable decline, rather than crashing and burning in a spectacular flaming heap right at the end...

I looked at both tactics and decided to go the strategy of being the lead bike racing to a massive early lead and then pacing myself after. However, there's no massive lead, just staying in the top lead group, and to achieve that cost me 6 lives.

I think i'd rather be in my position than Swannie or arkie
But it's hard to know if that's good until seeing what they both do and how they fare when they finally participate.

Half the comp could be out on say 70 pts down to 40 pts by week 10 to 12....and hard to gauge if that total is easy or hard to reel in employing 10 toplist teams on a weekly basis, or employing 5 at a time over the last 4-6 weeks.

Decided this week was my 'BYE' week. Got cold feet on Friday on taking the Seahawks.. and the Chiefs aren't showing anything to warrant a tick in the 27+ range. The -6.5pt spread abut too rich for against a team that is playing 'under their potential' so best to relax the Chiefs this week as their due for a stunning upset loss as well... Decided to pull back on the Broncos 'cheap 27+' option as this game screams 'Heebie Jeebie' (Colts Pass D quite good) and DECKER just scores on a 17 yard pass ..

Anyways... 31 teams WIPED FROM the Temptation Floor!! with 18 Denver , mostly picks for 27+. Lets see if Chuck Pagano learned anything from the Chargers last week? So far so good with Colts keeping the Broncos D on the field. Only to beat the Broncos. 10 play 4.11min FG drive disappointing.. still the plan of working the clock is going well.. 8.31 to 2.24

This week's bonus kicker goes to RedRifle who had the most correct tips (11), even tho he didn't activate any of his toplist teams.

So there's hope arakaan and ac83 -- the newest members to have exhausted their ten toplist teams, and from here on must rely on earning bonus kickers to improve their score.

Seriously people, just to emphasise, for those that have most or all of their temptation teams out - don't give up - if you do well in the main AE comp (known as CR) relative to all of the other Temptation "playas", you will still get kicker points and keep moving up...

I didn't realise this and, to be quite honest, don't like it. One of the things I liked, well thought I did, was that it, unlike every other comp in AE, wasn't connected to CR scores, where I suck big time.

It's not connected to CR scores, but to how many correct winners tipped.

It's just a bonus.... Woodson loves his bonuses.

Imo, earning the bonus would've been better if a) you still have teams alive in your toplist, b) you activated a team that week in temptation.

But I agree, would've been better if there was no tie-in with the CR side of things. If a bonus had to be awarded, find something else from WITHIN the Temptation comp.

Next year, tweaks

This comp needs serious tweaking. I can see why it was made standalone.

I think with the 27+ you should only get the 2 points if your team wins too. 1 point otherwise.

Certainly not in favour of bonus points from other areas.

Also I don't think there's a real need to restrict what teams can be picked. It's not like you can take 10 teams that will go 16-0.
