Not uncommon for younger teams to not be able to run out games.

I know this too well over the past few seasons.

Expect this will be a regular issue for the Hawks, given they traded out most of their experienced players.

Hawks just don’t have enough players to rotate through the midfield at this stage. Probably the reason opposition midfields get on top in the second half.

Worpel, Newcombe, ward, day, nash, McKenzie, Moore, mcdonald is more than enough midfielders, the problem is inexperience. Give these guys 3 seasons together and they’ll be able to stand up all game.

Not bad from the hawks today. We couldn't win a centre clearance until half way through the 2nd. Had they taken their chances a bit more and not made some dumb kicks down the wing in the 2nd half, it would have been a close game. They're a lot better with lewis up forward.

We will improve when our forward line get more time together. Lewis will improve things a lot in a few games when he is fit and skills are up to par. Ramsden will also find his place.

Obviously a dogs fan who has forgotten their last 40 minutes of the 2021 GF.
