Against the younger hulking rucks we're really missing Draper, we lost the clearances due to lack of supply not talent, the match up between Goldy and Nank should suit us more and our midfield will be hungry to atone
Ess by 60+

we could have alwyn jnr in the ruck and still should have beaten North by 80+

the ruck is irrelevant if our mids are soft in the contest.

losing clearances 28-42 to north was abysmal.

I put most of that down to Goldy getting manhandled and the mids not adjusting until halftime.
Thought Durham was well down regardless.

We haven't kicked more than 6 goals in a game in over a month now. Which is some effort considering the last 2 games have been junk time from early in the 2nd quarter. No one really coming back, we are in for 3 more 80+ floggings until the bye. Can re-assess after that.

How many years since the bombers won anything significant? Here’s their opportunity to show the footy world that they’re finally coming. They should be able to smash these kids.

Bombers by 15goals.

Looking at the Tigers injury list, and yes by number it’s large, but there’s ‘only’ like 5-6 first choice regulars on it and not currently playing. Like arguably nearly other club in the competition.

The rest is full of inexperienced mid-range players who are either untried or haven’t given them much in their careers so far.

Lynch? Taranto? Hopper? Graham? Yeah sure. Granted. Sounds like Grimes and Baker are right to go this week. But the rest? Really?

They will clearly come out in their home Dreamtime game this week and show a lot more than they have in the past 4 games combined.
