Dont have to thank Richmond mate he went way after we were done , Thank North as they had the pick that should have taken him.

We are very happy with Faull , Armstrong , Sims , Trainor :thumbsu:
Richmond had 3 chances to get it right though and stuffed it up. Not sure what they were thinking tbh.

I went by footywire, and that had 15, including Lynch, but not Balta.

As who who replaces...that's the issue. When injuries get that bad, you tend to have to play (almost) anyone who is fit, and the bottom end of any list tends to be pretty poor.

Of course, your club has an injury list of 3, including Oscar Allan who is out for the season because he just can't be assed playing for you any more and have won as many games for the year as Richmond won in this match.
Balta curfew and Gibcus coming back from a knee playing 40%-50% game time in the VFL in his 1st game this week

All good mate we are very very Happy with our boy
Now stop your trolling before you get spanked
Spanked?

Don't think too highly of yourself please.

You scraped through for a win in the worst game ever witnessed, against a side who lost one of their best players to an ACL in game, with your top 10 players on the field being blokes 2-4 years from retirement.

There's something rotten at Essendon.

They seem to be a soul less organisation
Lately all their games are fumble fest, low skilled, low scoring affairs.

Imagine if you removed a couple of older dudes like Goldstein and Prestia/Vlastuin.

The age/games would plummet.

Is a stupid stat. You need to look at the distribution but ultimately younger doesn't mean outside best 22.

Both team have been decimated by injuries and were crap to begin with lol.
So if you remove the old players, the average age drops?
That’s a great insight.

Yes Richmond have got a heap of injuries, but the age stat hasn’t changed all that much all year. You have a young team, but not the only one like the AFL media likes to peddle.

That’s why Freo are in a really nice position.

Went straight over your head obviously.

My point was that there's a lot of inexperienced kids and the stats are higher due to a handful of very senior players.

Not much in the middle of age/games.

Better looking at median vs average.

Yeah, went straight over my head when I realized that Freo’s average, mean, median, whatever is basically the same as Richmonds. St Kilda’s as well.
Early in the year, recent games, whatever.
Age, games played, whatever.
You’re probably right on the bottom quartile. Similarly for players outside the 22 each week.

I just looked at them as they went over my head.

We all get it that Richmond has invested heavily in a single draft and good luck to them, they’ve uncovered some quality players. And you’ve earned the right to do so after a period of sustained success that I wish my club had.
But they’re not Robinson Crusoe on the team youth.
I wonder when the media will pick up on that.

Your lot probably would have lost in a scrap like that.

You're the only team in the comp without multiple victories remember.

I'm happy with where we're at currently in our development, as it's our young players who are our best performers, as opposed to our oldies who are soon to retire and we've shown real growth in areas since the start of the year.

I mean, we won 5 games last year and were arguably worse.
