Absolutely pathetic from Whateley.

He should have been a big enough individual to do the right thing tonight, and pay a serious and gracious tribute to Robbo. Not least after his recent retirement from the Herald Sun.

Sure, there was an (extremely short) acknowledgment on the final show of 2024. But the public didn’t know what had happened to Robbo at that point - and especially not that Whateley had played such a major role in his firing.

Tonight was the right time to say something. Yet he said nothing.

(And, meanwhile, tonight’s show was as dull as dish water.)

Bring back Robbo

Amazing in all of the changes they haven't got rid of the most boring parts which are the coaches and players nights
I've been straight up skipping those segments altogether for ages. Those guys say absolutely nothing interesting.

Hard to judge from just one episode, but I agree with most of the comments here- it just feels so dull now. For all of his faults, Robbo and his back and forth with Gerard made the show unique. Now it's just another footy show, and the proliferation of coaches and players interviews really brings the show down. I get so annoyed when promote a "monster show" with some long list of guests, when that's really the last thing I (and presumably most viewers) want. I think I've watched almost every episode since it begun, but I think I'll just tune in for the first segment on Mondays and that will be enough for me.

Isn't it funny how all of the keyboard warriors on socials and some of the people here bashed Robbo for years, mocking his name, his weight, his opinions, his looks are now missing him.

Yes he said some wild stuff but the bloke genuinely loves footy and clearly loved talking about it. He was great in the roll and the show is far worse off without him.

Plus, the new intro is crap, the set is boring and Garry and Gerard are too similar in trying to be politically correct.

Hope retirement is going well, Robbo.

It felt that for about 11 years between 2010 and 2021 Whateley and Robbo were genuinely close. There was care, respect and chemistry with the whole ying-yang personality dynamic. In the last few years tho, and especially the last couple, that care, respect and chemistry seemed to gradually wear off IMO.

Was very obvious last year he had grown tired of Robbo .

It's been disappointing. I was anticipating a complete reset but it's just the same except with a new host. I'm no fan of Robbo - he's passionate but he rambles on like a shouty drunken buffoon (because he is one?) - so I'm happy they made the change.

The two worst segments were Coaches Night and Players Night. Unless it's your team (and as a North fan, it never was) it's a total skip. The coaches segment just was an extended Coaches Corner from World of Sport where the focus is just on those teams' games, and their opinion on any other issue was always the same. The players offered nothing ever. But...they're back!

Meanwhile, the best segment - the Watch List is gone. Replaced by....ex-coaches! Both of whom seem to want to be back in the bubble sometime soon so aren't going to be too critical of anything.

I hate the faux outrage and aggro of Classified and refuse to watch it. But 360 continues to go too far the other way. Far too pleased with itself and matey with its regulars. At least Robbo though would ask hard questions and make guests squirm occasionally. I can't see that happening now. Whateley's biggest fault here and on his radio show is that he'll pontificate stridently over a point, then a guest like Buckley or Kingy or Craddock or Razor or a player/coach comes on and have a completely contrary point of view and he'll meekly respond with "Yep".

It's amazing how positive ALL the feedback on the show is, particularly FROM the show!
"Fantastic Addition Garry,
What an intro, Love the New Set,
Excellent Episode"

The Watch List with Kingy and Joey used to be on Wednesdays.

Are you saying it's gone?
