Shouldn't matter really - the playing field is level for everyone - if they want to wear gloves they can, nobody is FORCING anyone NOT to wear gloves FFS.

Totally agree, it is not as if they are banning gloves as they have approved some. If Lynch needs a particular type to protect his hand/finger, surely this is a medical situation and not a performance enhancement.
Greedy AFL, only "approved" by them so they can make money.

May have been said previously, so my apologies.

If the main concern from the AFL is the grip it actually provides the players with, would simply replacing the actual palm side of the glove (grip) with that of an approved glove to the ones currently worn by the Q-Stick and Trav work?
