I don't doubt that Ainslie havnt won a final in years but what i do doubt is you questioning them about not being hard enough and worrying about there hair etc etc, it's not a great stat but Ainslie were the most reported club last year for such things as rough conduct and other stupid incidents i understand its undicapline but i cant see how they're a soft club. If you had've watched an Ainslie vs Belco game last year i am definate you would change your mind and i also question your knowledge about the Ainslie boys not going out together, maybe two years ago when Ainslie was all over the shop but i know for a fact now that thats incorrect, almost every weekend Ainslie boys are getting on the piss together.

BU101,

This post confirms you are not very bright and obviously do not know alot about footy - being reported doesnt mean you are ' hard' ? in fact it can mean the opposite.
The game you mention was not any harder than any other game it was a few incidents of late hits and cheap shots that brought things to a head. After Rourke specifically asked his players at a break who had hit someone!! This made our coaching staff and club blood boil!!:thumbsd:

Apologies BU101,
Must admit i do get you 2 mixed up , as im sure others do - as you talk the same dribble and come up with the same arguments . Im tipping you are the same person !! given similiar spelling mistakes you 2 always make
Either that or you both work in the canteen match days together @ Limstone ave squeezing the sauce bottle between each others Ar$e cracks.

Tell me BU101 & Utility7,

When are AFC going to build covered seating at Ains Oval that :

A: is parallel to the ground
B: allows you to see over the picket fence
C: is not solid concrete ( perfect for Cold canberra days)
D: you could swing a cat in

or are you going to tell me that the facilities are fantastic like Rourke's ' bring back the biff' coaching antics ??

Tell me BRK - how are those facilities out at Jamison going? Still the envy of the League? Or are you going to claim that your home ground is Manuka. I don't know which is more embarrasing. Even Tuggeranong have a home ground located in the same post code they are meant to represent.

Just wondering how Rob Tuohey goes, what sort of player is he? I see Brodie Montague has returned to Rochester and heard a whisper Tuohey may follow

gee its getting heated in here but i do have one thing to say. key position how bout you eat some of the shit that comes out of your mouth. you are weak and i dont think you know what is going on. if you are from ballarat well i feel a little sorry for you but im guessing you are from canberra and just scared you will get found out, sounds like you have had a beer with everyone, i once knew a bloke who was just like you, and he couldnt play, was a pain in the ass at games and players dodged him like the plague after games, is this you or am i barking up the wrong tree. Here is my tip for gf this year. eastlake v ainslie:thumbsu: and hawthorn again off course

For what its worth I've heard that things are ticking along quite nicely at most clubs, Ainslie and Eastlake look to have good lists, Belconnen will be solid again, and Tuggers will trouble a few of the bigger teams at times as well.

Apparently the Qbn Tigers Footy Manager, who has been groomed for the role aver the last few years, is sick of the bullsh!t and politics out at Marg Donohue, and is about to walk.

As for Ainslie spending up big, I have no doubt they do, as I have no doubt the other 3 big clubs do as well, considering the Tricklers have been outbid on 2 players this year (Gibson, who shopped himself around to 3 clubs, went to the Demons, and a young kid from Vic went to Belco because they offered more coin), as well as "losing" big names to other higher bidding clubs such as Cooper and Jacques, is an obvious sign more than one club throws around large coin, and before you play the old "they left because of the culture" how can players who have played for 50% of the teams in the comp (Jacques - Wagga, Ainslie, Qbn, and Cooper - Tugg, Ainslie, Eastlake) deny they were chasing the bigger bucks.

Why would 98% of the playing list stay at Ainslie if they all hated the coach, and the place wasn't a reasonable place to be around?

It doesn't make sense to me.

Bring on Round 1.

Spoiler,

Given you are a Hawthorn fan im sure you would understand? When was the last time they played at Glenferrie?? When did the Bulldogs last play at Western oval or the Kangaroos play at Arden Street???? Its called rationalisation
Tugg dont train at Greenway like we dont train at Manuka
Eastalke train at Kingston and play at Manuka
whats so different with us at BMFC:confused:

Think all supporters/players from other clubs would agree that Ains has the worst facilities in the comp for match day. -

all said and done Jamison is a better ground to watch footy at than AFC home ground. Limestone ave is a chiropractors dream , every one walks out looking like Rod Carter if they sit in the covered stand !!;)

think before you speak Spoiler !!:D

you are a bit of a fence sitter too:thumbsd: .... where are you aligned?

where does this magical 98% figure come from?

Hey Spoiler

Just had a quick look through your posts - you are the most anti-BMFC poster on this site by a mile - yes even more than ABH. Seems at every chance you have a crack at us.
My take on it is you were a battler that struggled to get a game at BMFC and headed to the Jets where things are easier and competition for a spot in the team is a case of turning up to training and getting a gig.

As spoiler said (no i am not the same person) it is pretty big brk to give us crap about our home groung when you are the only team in the league not 2 have one.. what a joke..

Yes i agree the facilities are not the greatest but the actual playing surface is excellant - the crows said last year when they trained there that is was A class.. There are plans to build some better facilities which i hope go through sooner than later so that it becomes a premier facility..

And the difference is the that like the spoiler said there ground is in the same suburb.. At least we are providing a facility for us and the league to use and we are spending some money on our surface, not like belco who'd rather spend there's on players alone..

So yeah it does suck having a home ground where we can play, train and walk 20 metres to the club.. Real disadvantage..

P.s. brk bring a nice fold out chair next time and sit on the hill good spot to watch the footy, but prob wouldn't suit someone as prescious as you would it??

If i was a bloke that was avoided like potholes, can you explain how my mail about Ainslie is so close to the mark, am i just a lucky guess? Lets see how close lewis gets to the captaincy, hes doing everything bar paying for the super coaches mi mi club visits. You wrote "i dont 'think' you know whats going on", shouldnt that be "you dont know whats going on"? You know i know what im talking about. Dont worry my friend, Ainslie arnt robinson crusoe when it comes to the stupid decision stakes. Belco putting reid in as coach was not just a giggle but a punch drunk decision. Yes i have had an ale with a number of players outside of my mates tems, and reid is 1 of those such players. Must have been a huge field to beat if he wins by a nose, now thats a guy you avoid when consuming a mind altering beveridge, hes belco's version of Ainslie's footy manager Corey.;)

KP,

I hope I speak for everyone on this thread when I say that your Canberra League bashing has no place here. Most users on this forum are here to hear about whats happening in the league and debate different aspects of Australian Football in Canberra, we aren't here to put individuals or the league down. What you are doing is having a shot at A. The league itself B. Clubs in the league and C. Individuals that play in the league. You do all this without providing any interesting insight or debate about what you've posted. Sure you have caused a stir, but for the wrong reasons. You aren't trying to help promote the game in canberra or make suggestions or provide anything but dribble. Take your crap somewhere else Mr Ballarat, because the rest of us have had enough of your comments and garbage dribbling about this fantastic league.

here here... well done ef. i guess he has an excuse, he barracks for carlton

Nice post Mrs Feel, Blues finals 09. I dont like to agree with anyone like im a bandwagon jumper, but who ever wrote Eastlake V Ainslie in the gf, i have to agree. If i was running odds on that happening, id be thinking $1.90. If it does so happen that Eastlake do make the gf, they would be rapt to see Ainslie at the big dance, but that means the Tri colors would have to win a final.
you must be on drugs kp, it was me who posted that, if you read at the top it says who posts what you goose, two mistakes in ten min. ok well if ainslie or eastlake make gf i would like to see you watch the grand final with a billboard covering you. on the front it would say i hate ainslie and on the back i hate eastlake and if you are not bashed by half time you must change into one that says i am from ballarat, that should do it. ps sorry to everyone else from ballarat

I dont go back to see who wrote what, if it was you then so be it. Now im not a fan of Ainslie but i dont hate them. Why do i wear i sign like that when im backing that to happen you turkey? If i said Q.B and Belco would play in the gf, then your bet would be valid, think about it dj homo. I hope it is Belco V Q.B but common sence says its AFC and EFC. Actually, anyone bar Ainslie in the gf would be good, as Ainslie players already get around like they are world beaters. Now dj, have you forgiven me for my first post error, today that is? Cmon mate put a smile on a mentally challenged dial.:p
no need to go back and look at posts it says it right at the top, just wear the ballarat one then, that will deffinately work

So el and dj you want to post about adult topics that go on in ACTFL, more so you electricfeel? Do either of you have a plausable thought on why so many players over the past few years, have gone from Weston Creek to Ainslie? I know a few WC players have gone to other clubs, but the influx of WC players to Ainslie has been very noticeable. I just find it suprising, as i know WC players would get themselves up for the Ainslie games, and oftenly beat them? El or dj can you share with me your theory on this topic or is this question not astute enough for you to doctors of football?

Weston Creek wouldn't have beaten Ainslie in over 5 years to my memory, possibly longer, maybe even never (does anyone know??). I don't even think they won a game in the last 4 seasons they played in the comp. All that aside, Weston Creek as a senior club folded before last season. From what I have been told, Ainslie opened the door and said 'come on in boys' to anyone from weston creek, where most other clubs only took who they wanted and shut the door on the rest (please correct me if I am wrong). Hence the reason why so many Weston Creek players are now at Ainslie. Not a bad move by Ainslie, as almost all of those players have had senior experience at some stage, even if they did get thrashed they still have an appreciation of that level of footy and would be bringing that experience to another club. Before this, I can only think of 1 or 2 players in the last 5 seasons that have come accross from Weston Creek to Ainslie. Hope this clears things up for you KP:thumbsu:

hey have heard belconnen just signed up a young gun from victoria im pretty sure he went to assumption an are thinking big things of him seems like belcos keeping him under raps so he sneaks under the radar any1 know what hes like?

Kilmore AFL Canberra Seniors (BELCONNEN MAGPIES) Collis, Simon Pending 03/03/09

This the bloke? Assumption is at Kilmore yeah?

He'd want to be good because from what I'm hearing the only other one they've picked up is Eckersley.

I met the bloke for the first time on the weekend, my thoughts of him are he is a cocky little bastard. The kid shopped himself around straight out of high school footy, yes he was Assumptions b.f and there captain but he never made a TAC cup list and he got cut from Werribees list of 60 at the start of the year. Time will tell i guess.

mate i think you better do some research again for a fact i no he did not get cut from werribees list of 60 considering im from werribee and we had 95 blokes try out an he made it to the last 55 and was one of the last blokes cut from the list only due to apparently his height also he played the strongest skl boys football mate and the herald sun shield which is the whole of victoria competition which assumption won at the mcg where he gained best on ground against a team who had 18 tac players so i say think again tac isnt all it is and he was asked by calder along with several others but as he was a border principal wudnt let them play becoz of skl committments so yeh the kids got serious talent mate so be aware

You seem to have made a few posts in relation to this kid. so shouldn't you know what he is like? Maybe you can fill us in.

Hi Simon, welcome to AFL Canberra. It was nice of you to drop by and pump up your tyres (you can't seriously think that everyone doesn't know it is you). Anyway, I'm glad Belconnen picked you up because if you are going to go around sprouting sh&t about yourself then you, Bubba and Eckers will get on like a house on fire. Anyway pal, from the rumours going around you need to spend less time talking yourself up on here and more time learning how to protect yourself on the field, i have a feeling it may come in handy!

Wow. You're going to be awesome Simon.

Simon Collis blowing up his own tyres = Epic Fail

Bet he ends the year in CD's.
