Didn't no that NOP. Thats a great effort by young Sam. He definately has a bright future at Tigerland. As does young Stevens, another sibling of a Tiger Legend.

Good to see fruit doesn't fall far from the tree out Qbn way. Expect to see those 2 plus a few other U/18's pushing for some senior game time next season.

Geez, I wouldn't have picked that! Congrats to Ryan & the other medalists. Well done on a geat year. Any truth to the rumour he's leaving town next year?He'll be a big loss to the ainslie midfield...

Lewis had a great year the few times I saw him he was instrumental to their set up. He has been a great recruit.

It would disappointing if he does go interstate, but he does seem to chase the $. One would think that Ainslie would be able to offer the bucks to keep him, they will need to retain as many as they can, they dont have many up and coming seniors playing twos this year.

I dont think it'll be huge, especially if the weatherman is right and theres plenty of rain around.. I've been involved with actafl for 7 years and can only remember 2 completely dry GFs.

1st Grade Grand Final
Belconnen
Swans

Belconnen will be more desperate, harder at the footy and will win comfortably. Their physical pressure will be to much for the Swans. They have been the best side for most of the season and I think a GF win will mean a little more to the boys from the North of Canberra.

2nd Grade Grand Final
Belconnen
Queanbeyan

Really fascinated by this game. Belconnen have again got the the best list but they have had that before. Playing one game in 5 weeks (all be it a very tame 100+ Semi Final win) cant be great preperation. Will it be the match hardened determined Tigers or the leg fresh but softer match bodies of the Magpies. Tigers just!

Both teams will go into the game pretty confident. Marist are always there abouts come GF time and Ainslie did look very good in their Preliminary. Obviously haven't seen much of either so its a stab in the dark. So I will jump on the underdog - Ainslie just!

Belco Reserves only lost one game all year (to Qbn @ Jammo) yet some punters out their believe Qbn will win. Interesting....

Maybe it is the fact that their preperation has not been ideal (1 soft game in 5 weeks) and they have bombed out the previous 2 campaigns..... "Kournakova Curse"

They should still be regarded as the RED HOT favourites... but favourites lose every week dont they

Should be a good day, pity its not 2 canberra teams, I honestly believe that is the difference between getting 5,000 and possibly 2,500. Much better day if the ground is fullish. Just imagine an ainslie belco or eastlake belco granny. would of been great especially with the mix of clubs in the finals. sux a bit though.

I dont think pressure had anything to do with the loss on the weekend for the young 18's. They had not beaten Ainsle all year. The ressie's is a completely different story.
