As most of us know the AFL have a new website.

After speaking with a lot people about the site, I've yet to come across a person that has a good word to say about it.

The reasons for not liking the site range from not liking the layout, design, the site takes to long to load, had to find info, not enough info, no HTML stat's and the site is aligned to the left and not the centre. They are many more.

I want to create a poll that proves to the AFL that the football public don't like the site and want changed made ASAP.

I also ask you to post what your not happy with. If there are enough examples I'll bring this thread to the attention of the AFL.

As far as I'm concerned the site is rubbish and I want changes.

No HTML Stats or option at all for that matter.

No stats at all for games, only highest individuals, after game day live in taken down mid-week.

Left allignment is stupid.

Down consistantly lately.

Doesnt like Firefox much, especially AFL video.

Cases from last years tribunal still there and not updated to this years round 1 results. But them as historical, not in the current area.

Yep. For me it takes about a year to load and then crashes EVERY time I visit, so they can get ****ed I'm not going there anymore

I don't like it how they've replaced the team logos with blocks of colour. It looks unprofessional, amateur and something not from the official site of the AFL.

Unless you have bigpond, you can't watch the videos. This is an issue that the AFL have had before the change but it's still irritating. Other league websites haven't sold themselves out to a useless corporation, why should the AFL?

The AFL site lacks more stats, videos and pictures of the AFL. While they had this issue previously, this has become more of an issue with the new layout.

Well said! The site as a whole is lame! But knowing them, they'll take next year before they change it.

1. Not user friendly at all and sometimes doesn't even work.
2. you can actually load them?? lucky you
3. Extremely slow and often containing mistakes

Just want to let you guys know that I'm in the process of writing a letter to the AFL, SEN, 3AW, channel 10 & 7 and Telsta demanding changes to the site.

I'll be using the vote and ideas from the thread so your votes and throughs would be great.

I've got a list of other websites I go to now (like FinalSiren) since the AFL website has lost so much information. I'm also pretty sure the AFL site used to have a search feature... I tried looking for a story the other day that I'd seen before, but now had no way of finding it, except with Google.

They all work fine on my computer.
The only issue I have is sometimes the page will load then after 5 or 10 seconds the page just goes blank.

Could well be the worst website i have seen, it just never works well. HTML stats would be very nice but i dont think it is going to happen, they want more people on broadband and they know that the site takes AGES to load if on dial up.

Where's the game stats? I was looking for them today and I couldn't find them. Maybe they are there but game stats should be so easily found, it's what a lot of people look at.

I've been speaking with her via PM. I told her that EVERYONE wants HTML stats. She said they are working on it and will be up and running soon.
