Could be wrong but I think it's unlikely given they play different roles.

Personally I'd prefer we take a long term view with that, use the list spot to bring in someone with some long term potential and give some of the younger players exposure in Martin's absence.

His three player comparisons for Dovaston were Beau McCreary, Will Ashcroft and Murphy Reid. I swear the cooked campaigner just pulls names out of a hat for these.

Was more interested in Dov than Farrow, but not unhappy. Probably more keen on the mid he projects to be than the hbf he is. This makes him feel like a Dodo pick, except this guy can kick.

This aside, what I'm more pleased about is that it looks like Rosa and RFK had a clear strategy and it paid off. I just feel like selecting Dov could still have had the same impact in terms of Sharp sliding to us. That's hindsight though.
