corey jones or mark coughlan?
I'm biased but I reckon that Jones is one of the most underated players in the comp. With Motlop injured, he will get even more opportunities now as the goto medium forward and will get the oppositions 4th best defender behind Rocca, Thompson and Hale/Petrie. He also has the fitness and endurance to play on the ball if required as he does from time to time. He should be a 40-50 goal player this year, and with his 2 on the weekend, he is on target to achieve that.

Coughlan is a good player but there would have to concerns on whether or not his body will hold up for the entire season. Other factors against him are that he is not playing in a good team and he will not kick anywhere near as many goals as Jones.

Sound like you're going to really ring the changes this week TOA. Just how many teams do you have ? :)

Yes you are biased :) Coughlan as a midfielder will easily score more than Jones.

Disagree.

In the second half of the Tigers game on the weekend, Coughlan was basically the only gun midfield Tiger on the ball - Johnson was benched and Brown was either joining him or parked inside the fwd 50. Cogs only managed to score 73 points.

Jones on the other hand, being constantly fed by his midfielders and working well with his taller forwards, scored 95 points.

The other factor is that with Cogs as part of a midfield will probably be rotated off the bench during a game, whereas Jones as primarily a forward will spend most if not all of the time on the ground, hence increasing his points scoring chances.

I wish I could bitch slap Kane Johnson for the effort he gave me on the weekend. He was my captain too
He wasn't the only gun midfielder to put in a poor performance. You can throw in Simpson, McLeod, Lappin, Campo, Buckley, the list goes on...

Just go to stats centre and click on most popular players
I did that but it says :
"Most Popular Players will first be published here on the conclusion of Round 1".
Which tells me that they're not ready yet ?

From what I know it's 20 for the year, max of 2 each week.

Time to get rid of Riewoldt.

1 point higher than you but ranked 280 higher than you

Yeah, sorry. The site is being real slow, and i got out of it. And could'nt be bothered going back in, so I just tried to remember what i was. Obviously i was WAYYYY off.

Round 1 score: 1615
Overall Ranking: 6342 of 72543

Have Chad Fletcher as my Captain which gave me 224 pts. Mcphee (109), Edwards (104) and James Kelly (103) were my other highest.

Will trade Riewoldt, and Koschitzke I think. Not sure yet.
