Think it would be good to keep the main thread to discussion around the game and its features, while cataloguing all of the fan-made player creations in this thread. Mods (i.e. editing of game files rather than simple creations) should go in the mods thread.

Some examples so far:

I think I may have broken it. This is putting every selection to the last one. A 7' monster.

Had a go at creating Michael Tuck.

I feel the word mod is wrong for those 3 examples. They are created players which can be shared with everyone. Mods are changing actual game files like the dude that changed the China jumper. Maybe a mod thread for the specific thing and rename this the CAP thread?

Do we need one for both?

Probably. Looks like a fair percentage of current AFL listed players will have to be fan made.
I more meant is the distinction between character/team creation and mods sufficient enough to warrant having them in separate threads.

I don't mind having a few threads but there's a point where it gets overly confusing.

Well I think that mods are separate. For example, mods will only apply to the PC version. Mods can apply to everything, textures, new stadiums etc..

A thread purely for high level player creations would be good as as said above, looks like a lot of players will need to be created and if we had a hub for them here it would make life a lot easier.

I don't get this. Every AFL listed player will already be in the game. Do you think people will be able to create better likenesses using the built-in tools than what WW have using the same thing? I'm not sure who will have the time or patience for something you'll rarely see

Maybe have a better read through the main thread.

Less than a quarter of the list are scanned. The rest have generic faces. There's about 28 generic faces in the game.

So yeah, I think people can make better likenesses then a random generic face.

I thought that originally, but when you compare the relatively quick Buckley / Tuck efforts in the OP to, say, in-game Josh Jenkins...

What's the keyboard substitute for the right stick then, for editing facial features, muscle tone and whatnot?
I think it will be the number pad 2, 4, 6 and 8. May need to press num lock.

Can't for the life of me figure out how to do that on a Surface keyboard. No matter, thanks for the help.
Yeah I think you're up the proverbial creek with that then.
