This download speed is ****ing appalling – three hours and it's a third in? ****ing hell, am I in Uganda?
The way they've handled the interchange is bizarre. They give the option of 'watching the game' or 'simming the game', and with the latter, I think many will assume it is similar to other sports games where it will sim until you come back on the field, rather than just ending the game. So essentially they're giving you the option of playing a very small portion of the game or sitting through and watching portions where you're not playing. At the very least, they shouldn't have included that second option as it's just going to confuse people and cause frustration when their game gets ended prematurely. Really bad design.

Cons:
Who has the ball? Unless you are playing on a 65" screen I don't know how you can see possession changeovers. A tiny light blue indicator is almost invisible. And then it fills with white to indicate possession? I'm going to go blind from squinting.
Free kicks: too many paid. Too many throws. Too harsh.
Tapping the ball: who really wants it? And why have it the same button as handball? I want to take possession then quick handball. Not tap it to the oppo.
50m penalty: it's not a penalty if you are standing on your direct opponent in the protected space.

It's either too easy or too hard to be honest. It's like AFL1. There are some good points like some of the players look spot on, handballing chains but kick ins are shocking. Marking is just like the other 2.
Also my game won't let me play anything more than 2.5 minute quarters. I change it and then reverts back on the loading screen into match.

From what I'm hearing, though, it seems to have more bugs than Live 1 did.

This is nigh on unplayable. You only get smooth gameplay when playing against another person because you're both equally disadvantaged by its broken mechanics.

Bit annoying how they didn't update the jumpers for the crows, lions, suns, giants, tigers and saints. Hopefully they update that in a future patch.

Well it seems like there are game-breaking bugs and horrible mechanics but yes, I'm really worried about slightly out of date jumpers
Really not sure if I'll bother buying it now.

Really wish they added the stab kick from AFL Live 1, the AI always seems to execute a perfect short pass, but I can't.
