I like the gameplay but they've done the pro mode terribly. And the list management side of things is exactly the same as AFL live 2. Oh and they've still got the same commentary set from AFL live 2. "O'Maaara gets the ball" it's O'meara you dumb ****s.

Not a fan of 'Be a Pro' mode automatically putting you in the best 22.

I picked CHF for Sydney and Franklin is set for life in the NEAFL.

I made an onballer for Freo and now Fyfe runs around in the back pocket...

As someone who has only been watching Twistie's stream, could someone explain what makes marking so hard? Its just from watching that stream I can see that it seems hit and miss at times, but definitely plenty of marks if you know what you're doing.

I agree the game plays better, the career mode is basically the exact same though.

They should add a option to have auto marking. and have it based on players marking skill.

Steep learning curve like AFL Live 1 but a good effort so far.

Haven't checked but are there on the fly tactic changes?

Tactic changes after each goal were essential to change things up against good opponents online on Live 1.

Yep, been downloading for 1.5 hours, another 1 hr to go lol

Annoying commentary bug where all the names are mixed up. Bad enough it lacks any enthusiasm and Richo sounds close to slipping into a coma but at least have them say the names correctly.

Apart from that and the lottery that is a marking contest, the game is pretty fun and much better than AFL Live and Live 2.

Tbh I expected the game to be a bit better but it's still playable. Luckily I have my receipt so I can always return it within 7 days if it shits me too much

Some initial thoughts:
- players sprint way too fast, big lads are way too fast
- marking is quite difficult, maybe it won't be a problem once I understand how it even works
- the commentary sucks, but not a huge deal for me lol. I'll probably play with music on most of the time

I'm not 100% impressed but we will see what happens in terms of updates in the coming weeks.
Few things I've picked up on:
- Marking is certainly an interesting one, hard to pick up.
- Annoying that tapping the ball and handball are the same button I reckon, plus the AI constantly tap it, they move it up 25 metres without disposing the ball.
- Deliberate rushed may be glitched, going off the fact that one was paid against me when I spoiled it over the line from one metre.

Online is weird. My opponent had the ball inside their 50 and was pushing towards the goals and then all of a sudden the game flipped to my ruckman with the ball possession running through the centre corridor.
