Hi I am not sure if this is the right place for this post
I am in the USA and am using a Mac desktop and wanted to know where and how to purchase a game I can play that has AFL footy in it?

From what I understand its pc only for computers.
 
I just don't understand how the player name commentary bug is a thing. It doesn't appear to exist in Single Game mode, as soon as I play Season it's all over the place. Darling is called Cripps, Priddis is called Petrie, Shuey is messed up too, can't remember who he is called.

Surely in the metadata for each player we have something like this:

first name: Jack
surname: Darling
commentary name: Darling
Position: forward

etc.

But nope. Somehow we have Darling = Cripps. And surely this would have been detected after 5 seconds of testing.

Boosted my quarter length to be able to nail the season objectives faster, during the finals series I got quite a few done kicking xx torpedo goals, kicks, marks, handpasses and bounces. I struggle with tackles and bumps because I can't mind read the ai and don't position myself right.

Had an epic bit of play where I took possession of the ball outside 50. Ran into goal side stepping a few players while I bounced the ball 8 times (showboated haha).

Went back to back with Brisbane :D. Now to try and nail the threepeat and undefeated season achievements...should manage it if I can avoid injury and suspension.
 
Ok ive started to learn the controls well enough that I started my season as the coach for Richmond on hard.

For some reason the holding the ball glitch isn't there and its like a totally new game!!

Took the tigers to the flag but don't know if that would have been the case if ai wasn't missing the easy shots on goal.

Was only playing 2.5 min quarters so I could progress to the next season to see how trading and negotiations worked.

Waaaaaaay to easy to get players from other clubs. Without trading any of my guns I now have Dangerfield hannaberry Cameron and hogan so not realistic.

Also could not figure out the training of players at most could get up to 2 points for training which wasn't enough to upgrade anything worth upgrading.

Had a drawn game but cut scene showed other team celebrating. Seriously dissatisfied with that.

The ability to take the ball and not be pinned for a free against has made this an amazingly more enjoyable game I must say.

Sounds drop out I have commentary turned off but now and then all sound effects drop off and crowd noise stays monotone no variation sometimes stays that way for games or just qrts

As I get better more enjoyment I'm getting

Something tells me they didn't do five seconds of testing. A lot of the problems with the game should have been picked up within five seconds of testing.

About five minutes of development time, given the amount of copy paste.

Maybe 6 months to a year of face scans taking and implementation to fool the unsuspecting casual to buy it based on look alone.
 
Does anyone know if there has been a patch after the day 1 patch?

Is it possible that the trading is easy to get any player you want because your coaching difficulty level is set on easy???

Will have to check button pretty sure its on medium was my first goal at it but good point

The most infuriating bug/"feature" for me is those instances where the game REFUSES to give you control. That breaks the fundamental interactive nature of videogames.

The most glaring example is when the opposition is running through the middle of the ground, and your CHB (for example) will leave his direct opponent (even if tactics are set to defensive) allowing an easy chip over the top and uncontested mark. Even when you switch the player you're controlling to the CHB, the game WILL NOT give you immediate control, your player will continue to run towards the player with the ball regardless of which direction you're pushing the stick. You will eventually gain control, but by then it's too late.

This also occurred in both AFL Live games. Drives me nuts.
 
How come you can't pause in multi-player and adjust tactics? Without the game continuing that is?

for that to work you would have to pause the other player too, and that would just lead to more problems rather than solutions
