Not safe to assume at all. Wouldn't put it past them to release end of Q2 which is June 31. That's without delays. I could easily see them delaying to as far as the start of finals if they miss deadlines.

It's a Tru Blu game. Nothing is logical with these releases

So keen to play this game. Just finished GTA V so I've got room on my SSD now.
 
Still no trailers is worrying, for a game supposed to come out in 4-6 months we should know and seen more

I actually facebook messaged the official AFL Evolution page and requested to see Wingard or Dixon next. Nice to see they provided the goods!

Didn't AFL Live 2's trailer come out 2 weeks before the game?

It's just a Tru Blu marketing strategy. They do this for their shit games and their good games, nothing to read into just yet.

What is concerning is that the screenshots aren't from gameplay, the RLL3 ones were from memory, as were the cricket ones. That worries me.
 
Ahh yeah fair enough. I guess the longer they take, the longer (in theory) they are working on stamping out issues. Hopefully old mate Wicked Witches rocks up here on Bigfooty soon and eases the pain for us a bit

Hope it doesn't come out June 31. My EB isn't open that day.

But I agree, almost every time a vague window is given it means it's at the end of that window. When DBC17 was announced as releasing "sometime in 2016" I would've put my house on it being December.

Some of you need a Hobbie badly, trying to read into screenshots/hearsay release dates and no trailer despite the game being potentially 6 months a way is ridiculous

It is as if you are on an AFL Evolution discussion board. Can you believe people are actually talking about the game. Blasphemy!
 
Has anyone else noticed that on all of the full body shots we've seen for the players, they have the exact same body type. This is a little worrying for me, I think there should be a bit of variety in each players' physique
 
3. The Bont, Buddy and Cyril. 3 players with very different body types, however they all have the exact same model.

I suppose when you look at Buddy and Bont side by side they have exactly the same legs? and they're changing dimensions like waist/shoulders etc.

Not necessarily that big of an issue for me as long as they get the heights (and of course socks) right and there is some effort at varying bodysize and these shots don't really tell us that. Hopefully some gameplay shots or real side by sides will give a better indication but at the end of the day at the distance of the TV coverage camera angle they're likely to be good enough for me :)

I'd reserve judgment until we actually see a gameplay video of the players. This, to me, is where people start looking way too much into the details like that based off a few pics.

The reason they showed gameplay for rugby league live 3 was because the player likeness sucked. They would have probably preferred to show likeness first before unleashing the gameplay but that game didn't have any likeness to boast about.
