Hey Ross, I was just wondering how difficult the game is going to be on the hardest difficulty setting. In AFL 2003-2007 it was just way, way too easy on Hard, so easy I'd be beating teams by 250 points and keeping them scoreless.
 
Why do I get the feeling I'm being ignored? I'm starting to question why I even bothered registering on this site.

It would be nice if you actually responded to at least one of my questions Ross.

I don't see how confirming whether or not we can kick soccer type goals is revealing too much when Torpedoes, Stab kicks etc have already been confirmed.

A simple yes or no would be nice.

Question : I know this game it's too late, but for later releases are you looking at incorporating Kinect\Move?

I believe it was Ubisoft or some similar company that said it's pretty much impossible to add in Kinect support to games that were already completed. You pretty much have to build the game along side Kinect from the ground up to incorporate the controls in it.

You know you play the game way to much when that happens

You'd feel the same way if you'd posted over a dozen questions and had every one of them ignored. Everyone else seems to be getting a response except me. I even posted questions about replays and weather effects that were ignored, only to have someone else get a response when they asked the exact same thing several pages later?!

It seems that whenever I post no one wants to respond, I've been nothing but polite prior to that post.

I registered on this forum for a reason, to interact with Ross and others regarding this game, but it's like I'm invisible here.

I asume tagging is going to be in the game. If so, will there be a limit to how many players you can tag? In previous AFL games there was virtually no limit on how many players you could tag, so it was possible to double tag an entire forward line with your own forward line, having 18+ players in your defensive 50 at a centre bounce. I'd hope there's a limit for how many players you can tag, as seen in FIFA 10. In that game, you can only tag (or 'mark') a maximum of 4 players at a time, ensuring that there's no exploitation of the system.

Also, how will the AI go about team formations? Will we see realism, as in players playing in their real life positions. Or will the AI just match up players in a position in that part of the ground, such as a FB playing on a HBF because they're both defensive positions. I'd hate to see things like Milne playing FF whilst Riewoldt plays HFF, or Ablett playing on the wing whilst Enright is playing RR.

I guess the one thing I'd to know that's attributed to this is whether players will be classified by the area of the field (Forward, Midfield, etc) or the actual position they play in (Full Forward, Ruck Rover, etc). If it's the latter, then I expect the AI should have no problem matching up players to the correct positions.
 
Ross has said - many times - that Big Ant Studios want to keep some things for the official press release when the time comes. Kicking soccer goals might be one of those, as it's pretty much the latest 'in-thing' for the players to try this season.

Instead of being petulant, how about showing some appreciation for the fact Ross has taken the time to give us the details he already has?

I asked a question that never got answered, but I'm not cracking it because it got overlooked - I'm sure I'll get an answer when the time is right, and if that happens to be the press release or finding out for myself the first time I play the game then so be it. I keep coming back to see what others are asking and what information Ross is able to share.

Not sure how that constitutes 'kissing up to the devs', but thanks for your feedback. :p

We're lucky Big Ant is giving any responces at all. Info on this game was scarse, and now we're flooded.

Enjoy it, and don't get sand in your vag if a couple of things won't be answered.
 
is there going to be a salary cap? so if you cant fit a player in, you may have to get rid of one.
if this has already been answered can someone tell me what page its on?

Also in the wet, can you slide/dive towards the ball or even punch it foward as your doing it?

Making it harder would be my main concern.
Played the last couple and found them too easy on Hard.
I like AFL 2004 I think when it had mission objectives and you unlocked highlights of games.

Also it was mentioned before that there will be 4 player online but I don't play online. Is there going to be 2 player co-op offline.
 
Is there a manual replay mode? That is can we pause at any time and go into a replay. Something that may not be in the first title that I'd love would be the ability to upload videos of your best goals to the net to share.

Just a question regarding saving a game. Can we save during a match? Or like all the other AFL titles must we complete the entire match before we get to save?

Guys i was lucky enough to get a tour of Big Ant Studios and i got a chance to see the guys and girls at work... This game is gonna put Big ant studios on the Map!! good stuff Ross and thanks for the tour :) see u in the morning for your breaky and caffeine fix..... Goooo Pies!! :)
 
also It would be good if there could be a one player story involved. Like from the start of the season your in the rooms and the coach come up to you and introduce you to the boys for your debut.

And also depending on weather you lose of win the story changes, like if you lose too much, the media gets on your back and the coach could get the sack.

What about having a player interview after a match and you get to choose what to say from muti choice questions.

Maybe during the season some player does something stupid and you have to talk sense into them or not.

You go to the brown low after party and get to choose weather you deck Fev all let him continue his night.

I think I'm too far ahead but it would be f**king awesome.
