With Ross ruling out Sidhe, it makes me question. Would Melbourne based Torus be the developer for AFL Live 2?

you might be on to something there. Would make a lot more sense for a company with experience developing on 360 and ps3 to be developing the game. Good pick up

I honestly reckon Big Ant could have got there in the next 1/2 versions in terms of gameplay, with a bit of very minor tinkering AFL live would have been a playable game over the long term. Graphics and overall polish is going to be difficult to match however.

It's a good pick up.

However that being said, I'd rather Wicked Witch at the helm than Torus based on the relevant info.

While Torus have history on the PS3/360, with 2 titles. They don't have history on sports games, or at least recent history on sports games (last sports game being 6 years ago working on cheap handheld ports).

Wicked Witch at least are coming off the back of an AFL game.

Either way, I think we're in for a pretty poor time when it comes to game quality.

The lack of information about this game and Ashes Cricket 2013 is really depressing and the sense that both games will be disgraceful is coming through more and more too.

BigAnt are making their own Cricket game. Looks like its shaping up to be a lot better than AC2013, as it is using a load of fresh gameplay mechanics.

Yeah I know, only thing Cricket 14 looks like lacking is licenses. Still would take good gameplay no licenses over crappy gameplay with licenses (hint hint we want Big Ant Footy 2014! )

If all they did in the current game was make the AI a lot better, then multiplayer would have been absolutely perfect. As it stands a lot of close games came down to your players doing ******ed things and costing you goals.

Then again some people absolutely hated the game. I have no idea why they did though??

My fiance's wishlist is that this game has more expanded commentary. She particularly gets sick of "He'll be told to move on soon".

They should have a option where you can choose from 2 different commentary teams. Like (1). Dennis and Bruce (2). Anthony Hudson and Gerard Healy.
