Totally agree with this. However attention to detail worries me....Walker on the mark half a metre from goal square, weird angle of speccy, number 11 looking a total different way to his team-mate as well as two umpires about 3 metres apart. Hopefully they aren't gameplay screenshots - just mock ups.

I have and I don't think every single player does it to that degree. As mentioned above, there's obviously very little attention to detail here. Every player will obviously have the exact same animation when kicking (same with AFL Live). This looks p*ss poor compared to AFL Live, though.

I'm hoping they might be using an old model for the stadium. Surely if they've bothered to go to the attention to detail of having the 'Go Cats' writing visible in the Brownlow Stand (2nd shot from bottom) and numbers on light towers (1st one) they will update the ground.

IMO doesn't tell us much about the game, graphics look at least adequate (aside from Chris Judd in player creator). Gameplay shots like the set shot one give me some hope, good to see players not standing around doing the same thing (see ashes cricket).

If we all know one thing, it's that we can judge how good a game will play from screenshots

I've been pretty pro-Tru Blu this entire time in terms of allowing them a chance to show us what they have, so it's good to see no immediate outrage or disgust from the posters on here re: these new screenshots. The player models are a bit blocky but that was to be expected, I think the likenesses are pretty good though.

As for an online-only release, they are shooting themselves in the foot if they do. Their target market would have to be the 8-18 year old market and there are a lot of kids who have a console in their room not hooked up to the internet. Plus by not having a retail release it would remove the whole aspect of "Mum look at this, can you buy this for me". Plus less exposure and advertising.

whats with 18 for essendon being matthew lloyd, something fishy here, for those that never played ww wii version prepare for a sluggish and player in glue style feel to this game, was a terrible terrible game. and as for tru blu saying they are devolping the game themselves..... typical of THE worst publisher in the history of the world

I don't take much from screenshots in terms of gameplay, so lets not infer anything from them in that regard, and gameplay is king - we'd need to see a gameplay camera to have more of a clue (the fullback camera doesn't count )
