That was not an Official screenshot released by the publisher though was it? You're taking what was said out of context.

If a publisher is choosing the best images to show off it's considerably different to a developer leaking out a pic from an early alpha build, that being just so we could see the hobo Johnstone once it was announced he was to be delisted and would no longer be in the game.

What we're getting of AFL Live 2 is what you can assume is very near final copy and hand picked images that SHOULD be catered to show off the absolute best of the game.

I always thought the AFL Live 2 screenshots were just taken in shitty quality. There's no anti aliasing, so it's definitely been taken from console.

I still think my main point of not going off screenshots is a valid argument though, small things like the umpire looking the wrong way don't effect actual gamplay and I assume would be the type of thing that could be changed before the realease date. I honestly am not that bothered with it though.

I don't really care about those things, in terms of where players are looking and such. But it does stand to reason that it can be a sign of quality issues. People are going to pick at what they see and what doesn't look quite right as it's literally the only thing we have to go on.

My issues stem more from them using a vast majority of the same assets as AFL on Wii which suggests this is going to be a Wii port upgrade and not a whole lot more.

That's the spirit! And maybe it won't suck. I mean if it were Big Ant making the sequel, I would have expected so much from them, that I'd hit the roof if they didn't pull through with my expectations.

I would have thought AFL Wii was just an upgraded port of AFL Challenge (On the PSP).

Looks promising in my opinion. It looks as though it's going to have more game play features (Shepherding, fending off, etc).

Nope. Because if it's shit, I'm not going to play just for the sake of playing an AFL game. I'll just go back to AFL Live and be back where I am now anyway.

I remember the old AFL Live games in 2003 and 2004 did that with the MCG.

It would be good in the career mode next year is the 2014 fixture. I hope they include every stadium like westpac stadium, Adelaide oval and cairns

I wonder whether someone from tru blu or WW is reading this forum as when we were criticizing the game after its announcement and said we wanted some screens they delivered and when someone on here mentioned that it was getting boring and we needed a video or more screens they delivered again.
