AFL Live 2003 (screenshots)

Well, the next AFL game is coming out in August on PC, Xbox (good to see an Xbox version!) and PS2. Anyway here are some screenshots incase you haven't seen them already (from the PS2 version I think, so theoretically the PC and Xbox versions should be better).

I think it is good that the players actually run through a banner, but at the moment all the players look the same, hopefully they will change that. The most important thing though is that the game actually plays well. Steve Quatermain and Gary Lyon are the commentators, I wish they could have gotten Eddie! Also, from those screens it looks like the control system works similar to AFL 98 & 99.

Hopefully they don't rush this game out so they can iron out all the bugs that exist.

Anyway, it is good to see an AFL game actually in development, even if it is Acclaim.

Those screenshots look pretty good & I'll buy the thing no matter who releases it! However what's with the Bris v Ess scorebox in the top corner, despite the fact that North & Carlton feature in the first picture & Brisbane vs Hawthorn in the other? If thery're looking for glitches to iron out, they can start right there!!!

The screenshots don't look too bad... it will be interesting to see the difference in quality between the PS2 & X-Box versions. Either way, I'll definately be getting the game for PS2... should be good.

but yet after 1 minute 24 seconds in the same game.....they only managed to score a point.....

Not really a good find. They could of easily started a new match and got a new screen shot from the different match!!!

As for the Brisbane Essendon when its Carlton Kangaroos thing...id say theyve just worried with getting some screen shots up of the players and playing arena and havent worked on major detail yet.
