EA are awful with cricket. No surprise really.

I actually moreso meant their American range of games. The Madden series, the NBA Live series etc.

Madden and now MVP baseball are the only EA games I rate at the moment. Their other series of games have gone downhill the last couple of years

Yes, actually I do. Sega wipes the floor with them at the moment in regards to the NBA and NHL games. And the NFL game is about the equal of Madden. WSB is just a bit ahead of MVP at the moment.
Hopefully they actually listen to their customers and make their games a lot less acadey this year.

Don't like their baseball games.

High Heat craps all over anything EA offers.

To Acclaim:
PLEASE LET US TRADE PLAYERS!
bugged the hell out of me not being able to update squads to reflect the new season, especially where the game comes out so late in the year.
Also love to see career mode, create your own team, and as others have said, other leagues.
Play this game with a mate who follows the same club and the most intense part of the game is selecting sides!

I'd like to see a Championship Manager type game, where you can trade, draft, build a ground... one advantage is the challenge of staying inside the cap etc...

You could even rejig it a little to allow promotion relegation from state leagues...

Would be good

Wishlist:

Network multiplayer for PC (and preferably, a multiplayer league system)
Player trading (or ability to edit players)
Players to gain experience
More injuries, and injuries to last - in a full season of AFL 2003, I had three injuries, none of which carried over into the next game.
Players that tire, and the ability to see which players are tired on the interchange screen.

In short, I want to feel like a coach.

Off-season trading is a MUST!

That is what entices me to play all the NBA Live, NHL, FIFA Series games. I love the franchise mode in NBA Live were you have the cap/points system to trade players and so on. Something like that installed into the AFL game would make the game just that so much better. Sales would rocket!

Please ACCLAIM for god sake have a player trading feature in your 2005 version (as 2004 won't have one  ).

OK, not bad, but I'd really like to see the following implemented before the release:

- Choice of umpires' uniform colour
- Three extra stadiums: Telstra Stadium, York Park, Manuka Oval
- International Rules Series (plus the Croke Park ground)
- State of Origin Series (SA, VIC, WA, Allies)
- All VFL, SANFL, WAFL teams included. (ala a FIFA style game) Ability to play full season of AFL, VFL, SANFL or WAFL or exhibition game between any two AFL, VFL, SANFL, WAFL or State of Origin teams
- Advertising hoardings to match actual stadiums
- Ability for the umpire to be player controlled
- Ability to open/close roof at Telstra Dome
- Telstra Dome turf to look realistic (patchy)
- Realistic crowd sizes
- Coaches' post-game press conferences
- In season mode, players to able sustain injuries, get reported etc

1 - most likely wont see it
2 - wont happen
3- there wont be international rules - would be great though
4 - not happening at the moment, wont happen in afl live 2004
5 - Once again would be good but wont happen. The game would be too big.
6 - Dunno
7 - Wont happen. I dont think you can do it in any other game.
8 - They do it now at the footy. Who knows if its open or closed at the matches. I dont think it would be an option
9 - They dont want the surfaces to look crap.
10 - OMG I AGREE!!! Crowd sizes are a big one. Would be good if it was realistic.
11 - Wont happen.
12 - I think this will happen.

One more thing. On the pictures (screenshots) they still have 2003 Premiership on the turf. Thats one thing id like to see changed :D

OMG what an idea! controlling the umpire! I don't think this would be too hard to put in, different buttons for different free kicks, crowds boos getting louder and louder throughout the game! players abusing you, stuff thrown at you as you walk off the ground! Lol.

Asked at the shop in one of the local malls here today-- the game gets released at the end of August, and the PC version retails for $69.95.

Can't wait to get my hands on this thing. :)

ditto!!
