goal kicking was quite easy to get used to. although im not sure if there was wind in most of the games i played today. but yeah easy to get used to after a couple of shots
Not long to go now, bloody well hope Dick Smith ship my order on time..... doubt it though, from memory it arrived the day AFTER it's official release. If it's going to be the same process with AFL Live, i won't be seeing the ps3 copy until the 26th (yet i will be buying the 360 version in store on launch day). Would love it if they shipped the game as soon as they had stock (say this tuesday for example).
I've noticed that some Dick Smith stores don't always have games in on release day, sometimes if they do.... they put them out in the afternoon and not first thing in the morning (experienced this with NBA 2K11 and Top Spin 4 - didn't matter as i sourced them from elsewhere, but still found it a bit slack)

IIRC, goal kicking is affected by the difficulty of the game. So I'd imagine if you're playing with humans on either team, you could crank the difficulty up to the max and it should only affect goal kicking which would probably make it a closer game.

I had a quick play with it. Had to say I was impressed, I like how you can use both thumbsticks to move facial features. Not like going to a scroll bar menu etc

I had a quick look way back when I played it at Chadstone. It's got an easy interface, where you can cycle through team lists to find players and it's nice and quick, not laggy at all.
I only really briefly saw create-a-team. Essentially you make a name, choose your jumper from a bunch of preset designs and various colours, then choose home ground and then I think from there you start compiling your team.
The GUI is great, smooth and not muddled at all, which is all you can ask for in a non-gameplay aspect of the game.
I have to say I am extremley impressed with the GUI, it could pass for a FIFA or an NBA 2K game any day.

Have to compliment the teammate who got the kick to Jumpin' Jack for the winning goal though.Only 'cos HBK619 (probably the most experienced player outside of Big Ant) played as Richmond!
It was unfortunate nobody got footage as the last quarter was VERY tense and really, really good to watch let alone play.

this has most probly been asked, but i just can't be stuffed going through all millions of posts, i've read somewhere that you can create your own competitions, is this true and what does it include???...if that makes sense!!!
deff can't wait for the game to come out... pre orderd it through JB hifi so hopfully they have it so i can get it thursday morning before work, then play it all easter weekend, non stop... feel sorry for my girlfriend though, she won't get a word out of me the entire weekend!!!
