No, AFL Live is PAL region. Japan is NTSC-J.

PS3 will work in any region.

MS region locked the AFL Live disk - it will only work on Australian Xbox's - the publisher and ourselves had no choice in this matter.

is there any explanation at all for why we are losing stats? how can it be so random?

i feel for others that have been higher than me... they have invested time which basically now counts for sfa - perhaps all they can say is that they were good and got lots of practise

re: online community - def. more quitters out there now - and noticable slow down in communication via bfooty forums... i would like to think there are also a lot of passive viewers (like i used to be) that still read but cbf commenting. deadline for action in form of patch must be so close - or risk further dropouts and lack of interest... perhaps AFL2012 is the best we can hope for to re-vitalise the game/community/players/us

We have got to the bottom of the zero'ing of games, it occurs when we read your stats from Xbox Live/PSN and then add your current game then write them back - the error is that the initial read sometimes returns Zero if there is an error in the network (which isn't reported), the Zero + your current game stats are then written to the network, resulting in your score being reset.

Obviously I feel for anyone that this happens too - I am personally looking to put a prize draw together for a significant prize for anyone having lost stats.

In terms of testing, there were thousands of man hours put in, it is rather simplistic to say "how did this get in or how did that get in" - to test all iterations of the gameplay is millions of hours of testing.

Wow. I just played the most douchey players ever, which comes as no surprise, but what interests me is that their Xbox picture is the BigAnt logo. The GT was KING911.

Basically, it was 2v1, they blocked shots and bumped like crazy. To make matters worse, they quit when I got a run of goals on in the fourth quarter. I was up by 71 when they quit, mind you.

If my suspicions are confirmed and they are a BigAnt employee, I am embarrassed to play this product. Of course, this is just speculation.

Had two incredibly games with Harry_O tonight. This game is so much more fun playing with someone who you know isn't a derp.

He pipped me by about 20 or 30 points in the first game after I led by 20 early on. He's simply unstoppable in marking contests.

I slid over the line in the second game. Was goal-for-goal for pretty much three and a half quarters.

Will have to have a third to decide it, bro.

I have created the SANFL teams and players drafted from them into each club eg Adam Cooney to West Adelaide and Ryan Griffen to South Adelaide then created players from the sanfl now to make up the squads of 40 it has taken me ages but as i go online it checks the validity of the teams and players and at this stage my xbox freezes up and wont let me play online can anybody help out here please

I tyred to get one one going but never happened, so going to get a version 2 going, if it's possible to get 16 other blokes to join.Otherwise I stuck to using premiership coach.

That second game really was just goal for goal, entertaining stuff. Also I can't seem to get my game going in the rain. Frustrates me endlessly. I've put it down to me playing a kicking game, which dosnt work well in the wet.

Anyway, third is a must. Tonight??

i bloody hate the rain in this game. the diffrence between my in the dry and in the rain is just crazy. If every game was wet i would barely make the top 100 but because most games are dry im in the top 20...
