Haven't played for a good month or so, but decided to get back on the wagon just now. First game I got to a 40 point lead and he quit, second was against 2 blokes using a pimped out custom team, who after getting a 40 point half time lead, only managed to win by 6.

Good to see nothing has changed.

That second game really was just goal for goal, entertaining stuff. Also I can't seem to get my game going in the rain. Frustrates me endlessly. I've put it down to me playing a kicking game, which dosnt work well in the wet.

Anyway, third is a must. Tonight??

The comp does start Sunday. We'll have to squeeze it in before then.

Are you the guy that quit on me because you didn't like playing in the rain?

if you are i truly am sorry. Ive only ever rage quit on one person and it was a player playing as richmond and it was in the rain. the scores were something like 70 to 0... I just was having a really bad day the game before was in the rain and i kicked something like 6 goals 16 points. Bloody hate rain.

Never been beaten like that so easy before it was totally against how i play the game but in the rain Port are terrible.


Would love a rematch though.

Matchmaking seems so slow

Matchmaking is slower because there are so many quitters out there! Rucking with Sandilands is definitely more even and punching power is halved, only seen the bump used in the marking contest once, was interesting. NO HINT of shotblocking, havent nticed other changes except for restriction of the manning of the mark. YEW YEW YEW patch!

What is create a team like and do your created players get deleted or stay ? any hidden feature we not know about ?

wtf happened to spoiling??

shot blocking is fixed, however, man on mark, once leaves mark, will not go back to it at all.

if a player runs off after a mark your man on the mark is clueless and stays flat footed and cant break the invisible barrier.

tackle after the mark is still not a guaranteed free kick.

You will have to re-learn to play the game especially if you were a good kicking style team. I seem to have been brought back to the field because now I cant spoil and opponents are marking the ball easier than they used to.

Game is not that much better. Think they tried to even it out too much.

Noticed some issues with the pricing of players, it's skewed heavily towards key position players and ruckmen. Melbourne, for example - highest priced player is Jamar ($546,054) ahead of Davey ($374,266). Fitzpatrick, who hasn't even made his debut yet, is seventh ($271,235).

Also, Sandilands ($798,928) and Pavlich ($566,784) combined are worth over four times more than the next best Docker, which is Hill ($304,082).

Other unusual things: Bock ($506,080) v Ablett ($473,908), Hale ($403,805) v Mitchell ($259,541), McIntosh ($541,092) v Harvey ($286,455), Cox ($634,879) v Priddis ($222,454), and my favourite - Jolly ($623,238) v Pendlebury ($329,071).

Will put off some montage editing and keep looking at this. Good thing is, the rookies have practically halved in price - my custom team's now got almost $3 million to play with.
