This is a thread for an AFL Live competition/ tournament whatever you want to call it. There are 17 spots only for this competition and it will start once all the teams have been filled. Once the teams have all have a player a trade week will start which will last for 2 weeks. During this time you can negotiate deals with other participants 3-way + deals will be accepted but will have to be agreed by all involved in the deal. Once the trade week is finished the season will start where each team will play each other once. The top eight teams will go on into the finals and we will find a winner. If this is successful i will continue the competition for another person to win bragging rights.
How trade week works
Once you have work out a trade with a fellow player, both players have to post ‘I approve this trade of...’ once this is done you have to make your changes to you team on you PS3.
Example:
I approve the trade of Dale Thomas (Collingwood) for Chris Judd(Carlton). Both or All Players must post this!
Now go to Footy Factory > Team Management > Collingwood > Carlton > Trade Thomas for Judd

How the games will run
When you are scheduled to play someone you must add them as a friend on your account. Play a private with them and send the results to my email. Both players must send this as players who lose could lie. If you are to be found lying you will forfeit the next match you play. If you fail to send results within 4 days after you match the home team automatically wins. 4 points for win, 2 for draw and to make things interesting 1 point for a loss. The dates and times for your matches be put up after trade week. If you want to reschedule your match you will need to email me at least 2 days before you scheduled match.

Don't put me down but if you don't get enough players I'll put my hand up to take part with whatever team is left over. I'm in WA so will not be able to get on until probably 11:30pmish EST for the most part as a guaranteed time, so probably best that you guys over east fill up the spots as you're online more or less around the same time.

Just a question - will trading work? People aren't going to give up their best players... maybe something like a draft would work? 3 players selected by each team from any other team in the comp, no more than 3 from any one side... so essentially each team has to select their 3 best players in a draft system and then gets the rest of their default side. Maybe even allow "protection" of 1 of your best players that can't be drafted?
 
Im happy to take the Saints. i will be away sept 9-12th but that shouldnt be to much of a problem
 
I'd do it if there wasn't a trading scheme.

I just couldn't be arsed making or resetting my team everytime I wanted to play online...

you dont have to trade i just thought that there could be a twist or something then just a normal tournament still need four players
