Pretty sure that the Roos put up a good fight against Melbourne. They seem to play at a better level in Tasmania.Just seeing the scores on the bf ticker now. Giants are ******* sh*t.
Not really. Percentage can be killer with that last spot. The 2 points desyncs them with both Richmond and WC - just makes it a wins chase now. This is some of the worst logic ever.
Not winning against the bottom team is terrible for your finals chances, no matter how you try and spin it.Not really. Percentage can be killer with that last spot. The 2 points desyncs them with both Richmond and WC - just makes it a wins chase now.
Draws are actually really important in that context.
2020 - Pies get into the 8 on a draw. Richmond and Geelong swap 3rd and 4th.
2019 - No draw
2018 - GWS would have finished 8th; would have been Dees v Giants rather than v Cats
2017 - Richmond would have jumped Geelong and gotten a home final week 1.
2016 - No draw
2015 - West Coast drop to 3rd and Hawks jump to 2nd
So there’s a sample size of how it can impact.
Was thinking the same. I think WC, don't care if they work their way up to 3rd or 4th and we play them in a home final if we secure top two. And any tigers loss is a good loss for mankind.Who do we want to win here for top 8 situation?
