Just to wheel out an old favourite... St Kilda should really be in red shorts here.

Only suns and swans can wear red shorts apparently

Maybe, but it would also look too plain. The alternate white and royal blue panels were a feature of the original jumper.

It was actually a mostly white back in 1995 before it changed to the version we are all familiar with

It's not as bad I was expecting.

A lot worse clashes where both teams are basically black (ie Pies v Blues)

woah this kit is terrible. The pale yellow doesn’t suit a football jumper at all, and the weird fat gradient side panels look so cheap and unprofessional.

I'd still say no. Both North and Suns today have a light based jumper and blue shorts. Eagles and Dogs wear full blue, which wouldn't work against any Navy, and some black teams.

Like Eagles couldn't wear full home against Adelaide or Richmond. Dogs couldn't do it against Freo or Melbourne.

Plus blue is an official team colour

Maybe no shoulder pads and yellow collar and cuffs would be better on this Suns kit. It's not as nice as the pink kit, though obviously Gold Coast wouldn't be able to wear pink against GWS.

Suns have had the right jumper for both of these matchups, blue. The yellow clashes with Giants which is one of two teams they need to cater for, so why they made a mainly yellow jumper is beyond me

Unless Geelong are in Navy, no team should ever wear white shorts in Geelong, New Balance can roll out a pink jumper for Gold Coast but cant make some royal shorts for Brisbane.
