Odds not out just yet, looking in early to boost on last weeks minor winnings (most people cleaned up)

Considering

Brisbane to beat Essendon @ what should be juicy odds
Collingwood & Hawks

Dont think sandilands will make it back this year.. a real shame for anyone backing him for the charlie.

Saints will pound Richmond .. Richmond lowest = a good bet.

Highest score to pies, who will pounce on Adelaide's pathetic kicking skills of late...

Geelong could score 121+ vs carlton and still lose that match.. anyones game really, dont think geelong need to win, but they should win well.

Im on Essendon, especially if Brown isnt back... Brisbane are horrible esp in Melb.

Also on Collingwood line as long as its not too ridiculous. Adelaide was pretty crap against Brisbane and are usually pretty poor in Melb.

Geelong, Hawks and Saints should win pretty confortably as well.

Will be on the dogs if their odds are 1.6 or more as long as they name a side with ins like Cooney and Hudson.

Port should beat Melb at AAMI and Melb will be deflated after the loss to the Hawks ruling them out of playing finals. Kangas will be decent odds against a shit WCE since its at Subi im assuming.

All the above depends on the odds though before I bet.

Early thoughts on 2 multis:

Pies over 40
Saints over 40

Pies to score over 121
Geel to also score over 121.

add stkilda over 121 probs brisbane or essendon will get up there to ..

who knows..

good multi = pies over 121 into saints over 15.5

Geelong v Carlton
Saints v Richmond
Hawthorn v Freo
Coll v Adel
Syd v WB
Port v Melb
Ess v Brisbane
WC v North

Few tough games this round, particularly on the sunday, and also with hawks v freo.

I dont think I will be touching Swans v Dogs. Swans have been good the last couple of weeks, whilst the bulldogs have struggled and will be very underdone again plus coming off a 100 point loss. At the SCG, the swans will also fire up because its potentiall Kirks/Roos' last games at home, and also with Big Bazza back in town. There will be a full house, and they will be fired up. Id expect the dogs to win, but its a tough one.

Never back the exotic type AFL bets but I would advise people to back J Brown to be the leading goal scorer this week.

And if he doesn't play - find another brisbane player.

Essendon defense just leaks goals and invariablty every week a player kicks a bag against them.

This is why I read this forum.

Ok, long time reader, first time poster.

Had one of many multi's finally get up on the weekend. Now i know post before to get cred, but I will be a regular poster from now on, nailbiter it was also.

Sydney over Freo / Geelong over 15.5 pts / Port over West Coast / Hawthorn over 15.5pts also.

IMO this week I would think the hawks will also be flat and Freo may just cause us an upset, Hawks supporter by the way. wouldnt be touching carlton, brisbane or essendon for that matter either.

Carlton at 5.20:

Beat the cats in the corresponding clash last year on a Friday night, at similar odds, at around the same time of year. Also smashed them earlier this year.

Freo at 4.70

No way do the Hawks deserve to be this short. I rate Fremantle about a 25% chance so would like a bit of these odds.

Adelaide at 11.25

Collingwood have shown to be a little shakey in recent times when they have been short priced favs. Lost this game against the Crows last year at the G in round 1, and were lucky to beat them in that Semi Final there too.

Bullies at 1.70

We wont win here, well at least I dont give us as much chance as the odds suggest. The dogs on the rebound and will be out to make a point similar to what Geelong did on Saturday night.

But Crows are crap now and we have been short priced favourites alot this season and have only dropped one game that we shouldnt have.

Pies over 60
Saints will win easy
Cats to score more then 120

jeez pies 1.03 ffs...

adelaide could win if they kicked 90% of set shots.. just saying pies have to be the worst 1.03 going around for a long time.

North VS Wce, looks a cracking match - Boomer will lead his troops in his 300th to a famous win.

I'd be staying well away from Freo....... They have been shocking away from home for about a month now...... throw in key injuries...... throw in longest plane trip in Australia to get to Tassie..... throw in most likely bad weather........ and on top of that do not be surprised if they rest the odd sore player and save them for the Carlton game in round 22.

Hawthorn will be near full strength, need to win to make the finals have Rioli and Young back........ I think they will do very well to get within 5 goals

famous??

We're bottom...

Port should be favourites against the Dees, they haven't won at Footy park since 2001 and not against port since 2000.

i also like the dogs to beat the swans.

Port Adelaide v Melbourne
West Coast v North Melbourne

Both Melbourne and North Melbourne had there finals dreams put to rest yesterday, and may be a bit deflated heading into this weeks fixtures against teams that have known for a long time that there season is over and have been playing for pride, contracts, etc.

I would probably leave the North Melbourne match alone with Boomer Harvey playing his 300th and North been such a proud club, you would expect them to lift for this milestone, and it's tough to back West Coast in any game at the minute. Perhaps a bet of either team under 24.5 could be the go.

Port Adelaide to beat Melbourne seems a good bet with Melbourne's recent record interstate been very ordinary, Port Adelaide played home last week so won't have to be doing any travelling, and have an extra days rest, and a win would put them back ahead of the crows(not sure that means too much as i'm not from Adelaide). Melbourne's best playmaker Aaron Davey will be missing this week too, so i expect Port to jump them early and hold the lead all match. So bets like Port first to 15, Port first quarter, Port lead every change could be good value bets.

Welcome Macca. Look forward to some more posts.

They beat Port by a point at their last meeting.

Like Macca I'm a long time lurker. I haven't posted in years. I thought I should contribute.

I created my first online betting account last week and got two multi's of the bat. $500 profit, i expect to lose badly this week:rolleyes:
Last Week
Collingwood - Sydney - Carlton - St Kilda - $4.24 ($100 outlay)
Adelaide - Hawthorn - St Kilda - 3.69 ($60 outlay)

This week I like North - St Kilda - Hawks at $2.35 ($200) and maybe Brisbane if Brown is playing.
