Day 2 I think paid $54 for level 2 afl members area. You might get into the ground for that price or less but the seats wont be anywhere near as good. Best to go via the AFL membership

My son wants to go to Renegades vs Stars on Jan 4th but I've never used AFL membership to go to cricket before (haven't been to the cricket since I was a kid) so not sure whether we can use it or how we do?

About the same as GA, But the quality of tickets is much higher. Ive got level 2 seats for Day 1 for $33 (concession price).
No benefits with regards to the BBL sadly.
It's easy enough on the Ticketek website to compare prices. Select AFL Reserve and enter barcode vs select GA. For the matches with benefits though, as NetworkNerd points out. Level 2 for the Test on Day 1 was something like $190 for GA.

Knowing our luck they'll email us the barcode minutes before they go on sale.

I spoke with Richmond as I have entitlements there too. They said Wednesday morning. Nothing like the last minute!

I would think so. They say you can mix memberships of 2 opposing teams (and have to choose whose members you sit with) so I don't see AFL being any different. Just as long as all members support one of the clubs playing.
