Sorry - just had to check the date to see if this was a new thread or a bump of THE SAME BLOODY THREAD WE'VE HAD FOR THE LAST 5 YEARS!!!

Seriously, instead of paying for people like Lionel 'I'm not that old' Richie to sing at our showpiece event or commissioning surveys that get ignored, find $15K for a recent graduate Web Designer to pull the website to bits and fix it - probably only take him a couple of weeks.

New AFL Website

Is it just me, or is the new AFL website gash?

It's confusing to navigate around, and it takes forever to load on my computer (and it's a new laptop!)

Why did they have to change it, the old one (i.e. last years) was great and easy to use.

The matchday function is the worst, having a lot of trouble keeking up with my players.

Anyone else having problems with it? Or is it better than I think?

W7 - It simply wont load properly in Firefox 4 (I think it's the 64bit architecture that's causing this). Apparently it's not the best in ie8 either. It does however work fine on i.e.9 (64bit application).

Snow Leopard - Loads fine but slowly on Safari and also FF4

Ubuntu - Again loads slow but fine on Minefield (FF4).

So I guess I can say its Shyte then

Typing Game Day Live into google and the CarltonD link doesnt load when clicked.
What they have at the moment is shit.
Pathetic.
It sucks alright.

The Eagles Roos game stays in preview mode. Obviously because the time here is before midday the game hasn't started yet therefore I get the match preview.

As soon as I change the time zone on my computer to AEST, I get all the updates.

Very amateurish and it's happened in previous years as well.

Tipping comp on AFL website also hasn't been updated. 11:40 AEDST and no standings. I can see which matches I have tipped correctly but main and private standings still blank.
